Waren im Saunarestaurant und die Salate (vor allem das Hausdressing) kann man nur empfehlen!Sehr frisch, sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier auch. Die Smoothies sind Klasse!

Seit längerer Zeit waren wir wieder einmal im Kolpinghaus. Wir waren sehr früh trotzdem füllte sich das Restaurant recht schnell. Auch diesmal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht: das Essen reichlich und schmackhaft zu günstigen Preisen. Dazu Salat vom Buffet in Selbstbedienung sowie die Möglichkeit sich selber Slivovitz aus einem FäÃchen zu "zapfen ".....Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Es ist teilweise zu laut.

Hotel Albus is just off the main road Olpe to Winterberg and is the perfect place to stop for a coffee or lunch. Friendly, helpful staff, and very clean and not expensive. Fantastic view from the terrace.

Wer einen praktischen Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen im Sauerland sucht, der kommt an diesem familiär geführtem Hotel mit ausgezeichneter Küche nicht vorbei. Insbesondere die schönen Zimmer auf der oberen Etage suchen ihres gleichen in Bezug auf Preis und Leistung.der eigentliche Geheimtipp sind aber die kulinarischen Events, die hier immer mal wieder durchgeführt werden.

We had the yellow curry and the peanut sauce both with tofu. We liked it a lot, portions were big. The atmosphere is more like in a chip shop but absolutely fine for a (quick) dinner.

On a local's recommendation my friend and I had lunch here. He had the Rollbraten and I the Schnitzel. Delicious! Plus the food was plentiful, the server attentive (she even took pictures for us), and the Krumbacher Dunkels perfect to wash it all down. Hint: if you go on Friday or Saturday evenings, be sure to make a reservation for a larger party because Klumpen is pretty crowded! We will be back!

The Alte Meierey Schwarz is lady owned and operated since 2007. The owner is the daughter of the first female German cook to win a Michelin star. She applies the high quality cooking of her mother. Excellent regional products are used. Furnishings and decoration provide the restaurant a nice old-fashioned countryside character. Service is adequate and very friendly.We came on a Monday and we were pleasantly surprised my the cosy atmosphere and the high quality of the food. The menu is traditional Landküche. We went for classical courses and wine. Dishes are well presented and tasty. The Alte Meierey Schwarz is a true value for money restaurant and definitely deserves a visit either for dinner or for breakfast.We recommend Alte Meierey Schwarz and to anyone who seeks nice food accompanied by a good glass of wine.

Not really close to the see, railway line and some bushes separate the restaurant from it. Still, you can see outside and enjoy the view. Food is quite ok, though nothing splendid. Nice coffee.

After the very good reviews of this Restaurant, we were curious to try it. The location of it is next to a busy route and industrial park. Inside a normal and a bit modern interior was present. The service personal was very friendly and attending. Concerning the food, we ordered Schnitzel (pork) and medallions of pork with chanterelles and bacon. The taste was good and the size really sufficient. Prices around 12,90-15,90⬠including very good French Fries. The overall impression was good for this rustic food and location. No free wifi, big parking lot next to the house.
