Vanaf zwieselerwaldhaus te voet naar de grote en kleine Falkenstein. Ondanks regen en later ook onweer een super mooie oerwaldwandeling. Fijn dat het schutzhaus geopend was. Hier lekker gegeten en gedronken en kunnen opdrogen om vervolgens de berg weer naar beneden te kunnen lopen. Prijs kwaliteit top !

Was von auÃen unscheinbar aussieht, zeigt sich innen sehr urig und gemütlich. Das Bier (aus der Dampfbierbrauerei nebenan) ist hervorragend - beim Essen hatte ich etwas Pech. Der üppige Schweinsbraten hatte wenig Geschmack, die SoÃe war dünn und der Kartoffelknödel hätte noch ein wenig im Wasser liegen können. Möglicherweise lag das aber an unserer sehr groÃen Reisegesellschaft

The restaurant at Haus zer Wildnis was great! The food was so fresh, so tasty, well priced and the service was really lovely...I don't speak German but one gentleman spoke English and he looked after myself and my son so well. It was really a treat.

Good traditional food , lots of meat, salads but they do not have any English translations of their menu which made ordering for those of us who are fussy quite difficult. There is no reason to expect English menus in Germany but it does encourage English travellers to stop thereJust outside is a beautiful lake and children's play area and best of all it is an ideal stop on local walks and cycle paths.Well worthy visit.

Lunch in this traditional German Hotel and Restaurant was excellent. It was a beautiful summer day and we sat at the secluded garden terrace at the back of the hotel. Service was professional with a good choice of regional food and excellent wines by the glass.The Wiener Schnitzel and Pork cutlets with cheese Spätzle were very good. Very generous portions.

We never miss an opportunity to visit this excellent restaurant and we are obviously not alone as there are always lots of tables occupiedby locals and visitors. Situated across the road from the forest railway station and about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town it is traditional in decor but the food ranges from traditional to modern. Try the salads or as I do make sure the main course you choose comes with a salad and the dressings are wondeful. The service is friendly and good to see them in the traditional "Dirndles".

This Restaurant was recommended to us while we travelled around Zwiesel by a friend. Original place and atmosphere, we had Caesar salad, Vegan burger and Saibling. All fresh food, which we accompanied by recommended wines. It is nice to see a place where they are not using frozen food and preparing everything themselves. Prices are fair and balanced. Traditional home cooked food with delicious fresh beer. This restaurant is small and kind of hidden behind a tree. Our hotel recommended we eat here and we were glad we did. I had a New York Strip Steak (Rump Steak) with fried potatoes (brat kartoffel) and a yummy salad. My husband had the Weiner Schnitzel (Schwein) with french fries (Pommes) and a salad.
