We had 8 of us and sat outside. It was a great spot. I think most of us got Schnitzel but a couple guys got the rumpsteak and they said it was really good. Service was great as well. So on Schnitzel you have small, medium, and large. Be aware that means 1,2,or 3 huge pieces of meat! You will not leave hungry and a great value.

Located right by the river and with a historic waterwheel running continuously, this restaurant has a great feel. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful river views and the relaxing sound of the water turning the wheel. The food was home made and it was delicious. I would definitely go back.

It feels like being on earth but having heavenly food, service, ambient. Excellent vegetarian and vegan food. The best pumpkin soup I ever had in my life. The paintings on the walls are a further attraction as the colors used are made out of wine! No words can describe neither the food nor the ambient and the mostly friendly and professional Service! You have to experience it all yourself. Don't miss it.

Kleines gemütliches Altstadtcafe.Haben selbstgebackene Kuchen und falls die leer dann ist das so, sprich man backt keine 100 auf Vorrat und das schmeckt man.Frisch werden auch die Waffeln gemacht.Alles sehr lecker sind noch nie enttäuscht worden und kommen auch gerne wieder.

We were part of a group touring Germany and our guide made us discover that nice restaurant where a large selection of "flammes" was proposed on the menu. Those large pizzas (with a special very thin crust) are simply delicious. You order the ones you prefer and they arrive on the table already cut in 8 parts. The idea is that you can eat the number of pizzas you like, but you have to eat them all, without leaving a piece, if you want to order some more. All of them were very good, including the dessert (sweet) ones. This was the perfect restaurant to eat well in a pleasant ambiance. Ideal for groups!

We went to this place after reading the previous reviews. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. We ordered steaks with french fries. They were unfortunately not great and i wouldn't call the quality "good' or" excellent", as the previous reviewers did. As it costs 18 euro per person, i think it slightly expensive for this quality and for such a small non-touristic town. It is just average (not bad, not good either) and does not deserve to be on top of the list.

Small and populare place. God vine list. I tried the wok vegetables and 3 scampies on topp. This dish is different every time i ordret it, different chef every time? But large porsjons helps.

A meal here is a highlight of a visit to Limburg.The choice and quality of the food and wine and the knowledgeable staff perfectly complement the atmosphere of this wonderful old building. There is a great choice for all kinds of diet and plenty of information is available about what is on the menu.There is a very good selection of wines and, again, much knowledge which staff are happy to share.

We found this place but chance, just looking for something other that italian to eat and came across a small, beautfully decorated and with great service restaurant. We ordered chicken stuffed with goat cheese and potatoes and my husbando had three meats plate, very good presentation, perfetly cooked, great beer and good prices. Absolutely recommended
