Wir sind spontan am Abend unterwegs gewesen und dachten uns, wir kehren mal im Vorstadtgeflüster ein. Es war zum Glück nicht Mega voll, da Ferienzeit ist.Wir aÃen Pfifferlinge mit getoasteten Brot und tranken Gin&Tonic dazu.Es war ein Gedicht.Die Pfifferlinge waren perfekt abgestimmt, der Monkey Gin&Tonic mit einer Orangenscheibe war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und auf Zack.Zu späterer Stunde bot man uns noch Decken an, da es am Abend etwas kühler wurde.Preis/Leistung ist stimmig.Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

I really like this place as it is close by one of my favourite tracks around Berlin.The food isn't particularly good but the price is reasonable and it is enjoyable.The main attraction of this place are the people who come by and their motorbikes.It is a little bit like seeing a motorbike museum with an exhibition that changes every minute.There is ample parking space available for motorbikes and also enough tables and chairs for the drivers.The atmosphere is generally very enjoyable and sometimes you can get into great tech chats about the motorbikes you are riding.It is probably the only place in Berlin where it is completely safe to leave your helmet and your gloves on the handlebar of your motorbike.The only downside might be that if you are not into motorbikes you might not like this place and only think of it as a noisy place smelling of exhaust fumes and full of odd people.

I came across this nice restaurant during a business trip.The restaurant offers good alternatives to usual German cooking. Dishes are well arranged and nicely served (rumpsteak 'café de Paris' warmly recommended).Wines list is quite limited and includes some good French wines.Service is attentive even if sometimes a bit slow.

My and my friends stopped by Cafe Schlacht for a hot beverage to warm up after a trip to the nearby lake. The cafe is quaint, cute, and small. Although we only stopped for drinks, I took time to read the menu and noticed a full menu complete with lunch and dinner items. I ordered latte and a apple strudel (my first in Germany!) and the were very good. I highly suggest this place.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren spontan und ohne zu wissen, was uns erwartet, kurzerhand hier eingekehrt. Sehr nette Bedienung, tolle Auswahl und vor allem sooooo lecker. Zufälligerweise wurde im hinteren Teil ein 70. Geburtstag mit Livemusik gefeiert. Das unterstützte den Gesamteindruck. Die Auswahl des Essens zur Feier war sehr lecker. Das kann ich nur bestens empfehlen und würde auch eine Feier hier ausrichten lassen. Da waren wir aber schon satt von unserem Essen. GroÃe Portion und wirklich sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Angelique war unsere Bedienung. Schon lange nicht mehr so freundlich, nett und lustig bedient worden; da kann sich manche Bedienung eine oder besser noch zwei Scheiben abschneiden. Danke Angelique. Absolut empfehlenswert das Wirtshaus.

Even inside, it's old German style, compfy and cute. Patrons tend to be older, lots of locals. The food is also very German (but some Balcan dishes, there must be some Serbian blood in the chef's veins!). It's good, but not great - very heavy on the grease. You definitely need a Schnaps afterwards. Which they offer you with the bill ;-). The garden outside is lovely and green and lovingly kept. A good choice if you're in the area or in dire need for some German cuisine in times of many Thais, Greeks and Italians...

South American themed steakhouse near Checkpoint Charlie.I went straight in for the 300g entrecote, medium rare, with fries and a pepper sauce on the side.It came after a little while and was a decent sized piece of meat, but very fatty around the edges and it was rather cold. The meat was very soft and tender but not particularly flavoursome. The pepper sauce was a poor effort - a gloopy dark yellow sauce with little hint of pepper in it.They brought the main course with rosemary new potatoes which looked like they had been cooked for hours - not least, I didn't order them, I ordered fries. The waiter said he would bring me fries straight away. By the time they arrived, 20 minutes later, I had finished my meal.The wine, a half carafe of Concha Y Toro Merlot, was ok, but nothing special.The meal wasn't particularly expensive but it wasn't particularly good either. Maybe I should have ordered the fillet?I doubt I will ever know because I won't be rushing back after this experience.

If you want to mingle with locals in a 100 year old place than this is a place for you.The owners have lovingly kept this place as original as possible. Service is great, beer is cold and food is very berlinisch. In the summer the beer garden is open and in the wintercozy seating inside. Wilde Hilde including the staff are awesome.If you want to meet locals this is the place to go.

In summer it seems that places with good view and outdoor seating are at an advantage.Ser5vice and food quality is not paramount! This is one of those places.We came here in an effort to get closer to the water and boats for which thus was perfect.Several dog lovers crowded the place and some boat owners hang about before and after the trip.The service is well non existent and you go into this cabin like place and get what you want.You have to do the same when you want to pay the bill.But the service of Nature is impeccable with food views of sky and lake and flora around. relaxing, once you get your coffee
