Ein Wirtshaus vom "alten Schlag". Mit der Wirtin kann man gut Spaà machen. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr günstig und gut. Die Portionen sind ordentlich. Die Getränkepreise sind ebenso günstig. (1/2 Bier für 2,20 Euro). Wo gibt es das noch? Wenn man hier einkehrt, macht man sicherlich nichts falsch...

Lunch in this traditional German Hotel and Restaurant was excellent. It was a beautiful summer day and we sat at the secluded garden terrace at the back of the hotel. Service was professional with a good choice of regional food and excellent wines by the glass.The Wiener Schnitzel and Pork cutlets with cheese Spätzle were very good. Very generous portions.

We never miss an opportunity to visit this excellent restaurant and we are obviously not alone as there are always lots of tables occupiedby locals and visitors. Situated across the road from the forest railway station and about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town it is traditional in decor but the food ranges from traditional to modern. Try the salads or as I do make sure the main course you choose comes with a salad and the dressings are wondeful. The service is friendly and good to see them in the traditional "Dirndles".

This Restaurant was recommended to us while we travelled around Zwiesel by a friend. Original place and atmosphere, we had Caesar salad, Vegan burger and Saibling. All fresh food, which we accompanied by recommended wines. It is nice to see a place where they are not using frozen food and preparing everything themselves. Prices are fair and balanced. Ein sehr guter Landgasthof. Hier stimmt die Preis-Leistungsbeziehung zu 100%.Da das Restaurant sehr gut mit Hotelgästen (3 Sterne) gefüllt war ist es sinnvoll zuvor eine Reservierung zu tätigen. Die Portionen reichen auch für gute Esser. Es gibt gute bayerische Gerichte und auch Gerichte für Vegetarier. Für Kinder ist die Eiskarte als Nachtisch ein Highlight.Das kann man sich auch leisten, da kein Eisbecher mehr als 3,50 Euro kostet.Fazit: Sehr gut! Wir kommen gerne wieder;

Der Gasthof liegt im Bereich des Gutshofes in sehr schöner Lage, er bietet sich besonders nach einer Wanderung zur Einkehr an. Der Gastgarten drauÃen ist sehr schön. Die Speisekarte ist recht umfangreich und hat ein sehr interessantes Angebot. Meine Pfifferlinge waren ausgezeichnet. Gut auch das Getränkeangebot, besonders das Dampfbier ist zu empfehlen.

Traditional home cooked food with delicious fresh beer. This restaurant is small and kind of hidden behind a tree. Our hotel recommended we eat here and we were glad we did. I had a New York Strip Steak (Rump Steak) with fried potatoes (brat kartoffel) and a yummy salad. My husband had the Weiner Schnitzel (Schwein) with french fries (Pommes) and a salad.
