An interesting old boat. We were greeted like old friends when we dropped in here by coincidence. Apparently it changed hands recently. The menu is short but offers something for everyone and I definitely ate the best "Bratkartoffeln", fried potatoes, here that I found in the whole of Lower Saxony. Try the regional specialties and you won't be disappointed.

We had a great meal here. The salad bar and homemade dressing was really good. I loved the fish that I was served with the housewife potatoes, which I discovered are on most German menus. It was right in the city center and had a nice view of the Harbor outside.

Their fish dishes are their specialty and albeit you cannot call it gourmet food, the quality is very good and you will not leave the place hungry ..if you do it is your own fault!The hostess and owner of the restaurant is very nice and chatty and it all contributes to a good experience.Will definitely come back if I return to Emden at any point.

This is a very popular Pub and restaurant. The fish was very good and fresh and the staff were efficient friendly and able.They have a weekly/monthly guest beer, which is great, my only criticism is that the standard Pils is Krombacher, its a shame they couldn't have something more local.

I stopped by to get out of the sun and have a cool drink. Although it was Sunday afternoon and the town full of tourists, they had a table for me and let me have just my drink without urging me to order food. Very friendly people!The other guests seemed to enjoy their food, so I guess this can be recommended, too.

The fried fish is fabulous at this restaurant. Outdoor patio is really quaint on a nice day with a view of the small port and the ferry boats coming in.

We are regular visitors to the area and this restaurant is one of the "'must-do's". What you get: friendly and efficient service, fresh fish cooked the traditional way (and served in a pan), easy-going atmosphere with mostly families from the area. Very good price for such high quality food. If you are ever around the cute town of Ditzum, do pop-in and don't forget to take a digestive walk around the narrow streets of Ditzum afterwards!
