This is where the locals to Leck eat and it gets quite full. The fish is very very fresh as it is brought in daily. I love the salad bar and the friendly service that you get. I have eaten some excellent meat dishes but for me it is a shame to not eat the fresh fish as you will find it difficult to match the quality elsewhere ..Plaice (Scholle is the best local fish to go for)

Compared to other restaurants, this was a bit on the pricy side. My husband was happy with his meal, but mine was over-salted. Waitress was friendly, efficient as to be expected.Danke für die tolle Bewertung

A special experience in Husum: dine on a large boat!Nice selection of fish / seafood, plus some standards meats and vegetarian selection. etc. Try the "Norditas", tapas-style little bites of regionally inspired seafood and veggie options.All foods we had were excellently prepared, tasty, served just right.Great atmosphere with genuine maritime decor, plus the very gentle rocking of the (moored!) boat when the tide is up. Impeccable service: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Family friendly, but also works well for couples (romance :-) ).Prices reasonable.Dear Rainer,thanks for this wonderful review!We were very happy about the "fine dining" comment and look forward to a hopeful reunion on board...All greetings from your MS Nord crew!

No greasy oversalted low quality plates here. This is 4-5 star quality prepared with care from what are obviously top quality fresh and local ingredients. A wonderful version of local dishes; healthy and well prepared, nicely presented and to our surprise very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a special trip and the 8km walk to get here. Hope to be back some day soon.

After three days in this area and only finding fattening fried food we discovered Glúcklich am Meer. Tasty food and for us vegetarians some great choices. The restaurant has great atmosphere and all the girls were so friendly and helpful.

Einen solchen kulinarischen Genuss hätten wir inmitten der Nordfriesischen Provinz nicht erwartet! Wir haben hier nun bereits 2x gegessen - es war jedes Mal wirklich lekker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und auf Zack, die Karte ist klein aber dafür alles frisch. Zum dem gibt es immer auch ein aktuelles Tagesgericht. Das Restaurant ist ganz offensichtlich eine feste GröÃe in der Region - es war immer gut besucht - wir empfehlen zu reservieren! Eingerichtet ist es in einem geschmackvollen Mix aus friesischem Landhaus-Stil und Moderne. Parkplätze gibt es in ausreichender Anzahl direkt vorm Restaurant.

Die einen sagen Pommesbude, ich sage super leckeres Schnellrestaurant. Neben den üblichen, gängigen Menüs gibt es hier auch regionale Spezialitäten wie Sauerfleisch oder Labskaus, und Burger!!! Der Gyrosburger ist ein echter Kracher!!! Einfach mal ausprobieren!!!

I wrote in January ad am again revisiting what for me has become a pilgrimage to a truly superb restaurant assuming you can get a reservation. The two guys who own and run the place are a class act...front of service partner is charming, funny and has a huge attention to detail keeping his staff on the ball.The real magic is in the kitchen where the other partner has a gift for fine dining at a high level. I was treated to a shrimp mixture with rice that was coated in Panco breadcrumbs and then gently fried accompanied by Wasami and pickled sea weed....a .very nice appetiser that I have never had anything like it before. It packed crunch because of the panic crumbs and was soft succulent shrimps on the inside balanced with Asiatic flavours .The main cause was lamb chops with carrot mash, and potatoes. This looks like a very simple dish that I have had so often but the flavours this one had was a testament to the chef's talent. The sauce was made using home made stock, the meat had a hint of herbs de Provence, and i live in the S.France but to get a similar dish there would be expensive and we are talking 3 star Michelin for a meal cooked to perfection. I highly recommend....these guys are going places in my view.

Mir persönlich ist die Atmosphäre in einem Restaurant sehr wichtig und die ist in der Friesenhalle wirklich gemütlich und trotzdem nobel - für mich die perfekte Mischung!Es ist kein Restaurant, aus dem man nach dem Essen so schnell wie möglich das Weite sucht. Hier bleibt man gerne noch ein bisschen sitzen und unterhält sich z.B. mit den neuen Besitzern - einem super netten Pärchen, das dem Restaurant durch ihre authentische und offene Art das gewisse Etwas verleiht! Keine Kette, keine Abfertigung, sondern mit Herz und Seele dabei. Das ist schon was wert heutzutage!AuÃerdem ist das Essen hervorragend und auÃergewöhnlich! Wer schonmal in der Sansibar auf Sylt essen war, weiÃ, wie delikat das Essen dort ist!Hier kocht ein ehemaliger Koch der Sansibar und das merkt man sofort!Sowas bekommt man nicht alle Tage aufgesetzt.Damit wird das Essen hier zu einem wirklichen Erlebnis, bei dem man sich wahrgenommen und aufgehoben fühlt und für sein Geld unglaublich gutes Essen bekommt. Für mich das perfekte Rundum-Paket! Ich wünsche dem Team nur das beste und weiterhin viel Erfolg!
