We had dinner in the beer garden. Very busy with a friendly crowd of locals visitors. I had schnitzel with boiled potatoes and it was fine and the portions were enormous. Not high class but good homely food in a lively setting.

The restaurant is located in a guesthouse Adler where I staid for one night during my besiness trip.We had a dinner here with my colleagues and I regret to inform you that my schnitzel was rather awful - absolutely dry.Staff was not friendly and welcoming. Could not recommend this neither this guesthouse nor their restaurant for anyone and please think twice before choosing this location either for your overnight or meal.

The Roter Ochsen provided lovely services for our family reunion, we used all services provided. Breakfast, dinner, "pub" and meeting room. We could not have asked for a nicer spot. The convenience to shops, the waitresses were wonderful, the rooms are clean and above average in amenities. What espcecially made my travels nicer was the breakfast was put at my door at 5:45 am just as I requested on my day of departure. This is a top notch family run business, I recommend to all with no hesitations. Thanks for a lovely journey Roter Ochsen.

We found this place while exploring the town, and made reservations to come back that evening for dinner. This place is very popular with locals, so we are very glad we made those reservations. It's very charming and modern-looking, the food was excellent, and our server, Yvonne, was outstanding. They don't have a translated menu (which is fine-we enjoy trying to decipher what we can), and Yvonne helped by translating every dish on the menu for us. She was very helpful, kind, and fun. This place was a one-of -a kind experience.

Ruhig gelegenes Gasthaus, mitten im Dorf Röttingen. Die Zimmer sind neu, groÃzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und direkt auf dem Tisch angerichtet.Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.Die Eigentümer sind jederzeit ansprechbar.Der Zimmerpreis mit 65⬠ist sehr angemessen.

We stopped here for a dinner and the staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. We had Gemusegratin which was wonderful and looking at other diners food, everyone seemed to be very happy with their choice and have to say the portions were plentiful.

Very popular with the locals for Sunday lunch but quieter mid-week. Dining room partitioned into separate areas, some of which, if you are unfortunate to be seated there, have all the ambience of a British Rail waiting room. However quality of the food is a very high standard and hence relatively expensive for this part of Germany. The bottom line is if you want the full experience of local cuisine, atmosphere and Swabish hospitality go to the Zum Sonnenwirt in Bopfingen.

Un locale tipico, tipo birreria, che si trova nella città di Bopfingen. Senza troppe pretese. Tavoli in legno e panche. Ospita spesso serate (fumose) con complessini locali che animano (molto) l'ambiente e coprono il vociare dei clienti.Serve piatti locali (della zona sveva) e anche della ex Jugoslavia e per questo è preferito da molti. La birra non manca.E' un po' alla buona, ma si mangia bene. Serve anche vini internazionali, oltre alla classica birra locale.

Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil zu Gast im Bären, eine super gemütliche Gaststätte mit hervorragenden Köstlichkeiten schwäbischer Art, wir wurden freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend empfangen, der Service war tadellos. Ein empfehlenswerter Ort zum Verweilen.

This restaurant is in the centre of an interesting village with parking outside. It is Black Forest in style and there is a small beer garden with an impressive barn. Deficits were redeemed by the fantastic fillet steak with outstanding baked potatoes and pasta dishes together with the ambiance and good selection of beers. However there was a wedding in the function room and I think this led to rather slow service. Also the salad was a little tired which should not happen in a restaurant with a fast turnover. The waiter, who I think was the owner, was very friendly and personable. The cost for 2 with drinks was around 60⬠which is quite expensive but we will return if in the area again.
