We had a tour of la chapelle overlooking the vineyards of Paul Jaboulet. We returned to their shop and restaurant. It was so good! We were very well looked after and sampled some amazing wines. The meal was very well presented and tasted really good.

A lunchtime discovery while working in the area, this place was a sparkling surprise.Location : A sufficiently pleasant pedestrian street with a few seats outside, however parking is tricky in the area and there isnât much by way of a view.Decor : Unfortunately the decor does not live up the standards set by the service and the food. In a modern style which is unrelated to the traditional-inspiration cuisine, it is rather cold and tasteless. Service : The landlord was attentive and conscientious, as well as very warm and welcome. He was passionate about his restaurant and the cuisine and provided very detailed colourful explanations of the dishes, and the service was fast and efficient.Food : This is the selling point of this restaurant : the cuisine is inspired by french traditional cuisine with a modern experimental twist and relying on local fresh ingredients. The quality was great and the food was easily the best tasting I tried in the whole Valence area. My main dish was a perfectly prepared piece of lamb with local vegetables and mushrooms and it was sincerely delicious. The dessert also did not disappoint :)Price : It is not the cheapest place in town, but it a very fair price for the quality of cuisine they served, it is still very much a good deal (3 course meal + coffee for under 30 euros).Overall, you will have no regrets about eating here and it is not far from a 5/5. Le Cérisier restaurant came recommended by our Hotel (de la Villéon) . The restaurant is situated just off a square, behind a very modest façade. Inside there are 2 dining spaces, with the back room being surrounded by a walled terrace. The service is very professional, the menu is interesting and the food arrives at your table beautifully presented.. tasting as good as it looks. And all of this for very reasonable prices for big city folk.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here - beautifully prepared food using quality ingredients, very tasty. Great wines to accompany our lunch. The restaurant itself is in a hotel, and is very modern and stylish. I'd love to go hack to stay the weekend, enjoy the spa and several meals there.
