Let's be fair, this is really good value for 13⬠or so, you get à drink, a main course and a.dessert. Good value. Food-wise, the tarts are nothing to write home about, decent at best. The salad that came with it was useless and the seasoning irrelevant.The dessert, a pear and chocolate crumble, was à massive disappointment, too hot, too sweet, way too much black stuff that barely tasted like chocolate, so much so that you couldnt possibly imagine there were pears in there. Other desserts at our table, such as the chocolate mousse were clearly not homemade. Service was very slow and somewhat unprofessional.So yes for 13â¬, its good value, sure, but for a placé called Côté Tartes, its just not good enough...Ps, menu doesnt include alcoholic beverages.

I ate at La Table de Christophe during a job trip in Valenciennes and I have to say this place is fantastic!!!Great food (cheese selection, fois gras, terrine, angus steak with rosemary butter, chocolate mousse), great and warm atmosphere. All is worth the price!! If I ever come back to Valenciennes, this place will be my first choice for a dinner!!

Small restaurant,happened to stop for lunch.5 minites from autoroute.Modern,clean interior.Fresh,beautifully presented dishes,everything prepared on the premises.Good wines,friendly service.No fancy,no frills,but a great stop I will remember.

A very Nice Restaurant a short walk from the Notre dam Hotel, we found out why it was busy the food is excellent and the atmosphere matches it. It is on 3 x floors and the waiting staff fly around efficiently and with a smile, the food and drinks is served promptly even though it was very busy at the time of our visit.We had Rump steak which to our horror was served cold and raw lol the hot flat stones soon followed and we started to cook our steaks to our own individual liking, it was very good indeed, what a nice way to have your meat served. We had beers and Coffees to follow our meals which were all equally nice, the staff are exceptional. What a Great Restaurant and great people. Well done all .Thank you very much Chris E ! We are so glad that you appreciate our services and our food.It will be a pleasure to see you again Chez Mon Vieux.

C'est sympa, c'est très bon et c'est souvent complet: donc, mieux vaut réserver si on ne veut pas rater ce sympathique restaurant où la gentillesse n'est pas en option. Les plats proposés sont très bien réalisés, servis généreusement dans une ambiance très conviviale. Je recommande absolument ! D'autant que les prix sont aussi au top !

Accueil et cadre chaleureux. Les crêpes sont très bonnes autant au sarrasin qu'au froment. Les garnitures sont généreuses. Cidre au fût et jus de pommes bio ! Tout est fait maison, les produits sont de qualité. Belles associations de goût. Je conseille la "Normande", pommes caramélisées, caramel beurre salé maison, flambée au Calvados. Bon rapport qualité prix !

We arrived here on our way back home from France, looking forward to enjoying Michelin star food for our lunch. The restaurant is very pleasant without having outstanding character and we have eaten better food in other establishments that do not have a Michelin star, and those that do.We chose to eat from the lower priced menu simply because there were a number of dishes both myself and my wife liked the sound of. This could have had a bearing on the enjoyment of the food but I have not found that to be an issue in the past. To be clear, the food was good but nothing stood out as being particularly special and we would have expected that.The service was fine but could have been better, at times we felt a little ignored which may have been due to two other large groups eating in the restaurant at the time. This should not however affect the quality of service.The wine list is also good and well priced.

My wife and I spent two nights in Valenciennes May 7th and 8th. We had pre-dinner drinks here on the first evening. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the homemade pizza snacks were delicious. The ambiance was just perfect. So good we went back the next evening. They were closed! There was another bar open next door. We tried there, big mistake. Twice the price and poor reception. Salvation! O Divine opened up. We had no compunction but to leave and revisit. O Divine did not dissapoint, the same warm welcome and superb service. Found this place by accident. We loved it! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The food very good and the decor is really cosy and authentic.The fire was lit and that was it.The portions are large so if you are a small eater, beware. I ordered "Entrecôte" (steak) and only ate half of it because it was huge.
