the wifi was the high light. Went with 2 kids for a coffee and soft drink.....looked like the staff were feeding their friends and family at the customers expense. Drinks were not cheap ,..service slow.....and a sigh on the wall with expletives although humerous not appropriate for a place with kids.

Warning - this is popular and busy so be prepared for the possibility of a wait for a table even on a September lunch time.Itâs popular because itâs well styled as a surf shack, itâs overlooking the beach and the surfers and the food is good. The lady âmaitre Dâ was rushed off her feet and very good at her job. There was, I grant you, one waiter who was a little too laid back to be described as good but hey, this is for surfer dudes!Food and drinks are good (we had lovely big salads) and reasonably priced especially given the location.Definitely worth a visit (or two)

This place must have a new butcher since the 2016 reviews. The entocote was as thin as the soles of my boots and as tough. Chips must have been fried four times they were so dark. Salad garnish had been plated at least an hour before.! Sauce was ok. Mouse au Chocolat was good, service was freindly, will not be backHello Janet, Désolé whom your visit did not totally satisfy you but we always try hard to bring the best solutions to the various concerns(marigolds) which our customers can meet by coming to our place. We are aware(conscious) that everything is not completed but we really work to satisfy you at the most. AS REGARDS our rib steak, we propose you a fresh meat of 250g distinguished(thoroughbred) in 15 euros 50, you do not find better as value for money somewhere else! Nevertheless, I suit completely that he was able to have there there breaches(negligences); it was just enough to TELL it to us and we would have been able to remedy it with no problem at all. But to pity you of your dinner after knocks without description is also very distressing for you as for us! The food was very delicious, although we expected a more traditional French cuisine. Therefore our expectations were not fully met. Staff, location and atmosphere were however great. Since we visited outside of main season and there were plenty of free seats the sequence of starter, main dish and desert was yet way too fast. This could have been a bit more relaxed. In total really nice place with great food - if you are looking for traditional french dishes you will be disappointed.

Excellent food, friendly, quick attentive service. My wife had the special: grilled prawns with rice and wok-fried vegetables. Perfect and well priced at â¬15. I had six oysters (extremely good quality) and the onglet aux echalotes which was actually a (delicious roasted shallot). With the perfect setting overlooking the plages centrales we will definitely be back.

My husband and I visited this restaurant and we loved it. The interior was really nicely done, very relaxing and confortable and funky at the same time. The service first class. And the meal lovely. Great value for the menu, and good choices. The quality of the food is very good - and it is things you wouldnât cook for yourself at home. Iâd really recommend it - but book in advance. 3x couples were turned away when we were there!

Unassuming but friendly bar / tapas restaurant located on Lacanau seafront, we enjoyed our visit so much we came back the following day to order the exact same dishes! Incredible food, prices were reasonable and we feel lucky we that made the right choice among the many dining options in Lacanau Ocean. The squid / chorizo dish is a must try!Thank you for your visit ! See you soon :-)

This is a good restaurant. It is much better than the others on the strip (beef etc) and should be rated higher than #32! My wife had sea food and I had a burger which was the best tasting burger I have ever had in a France!
