Went for a friends birthday celebration, food was absolutely delicious, 4 of us had sirloin, 2 had chickpea curry and one had ribs, not a single complaint from one of us! Very good quality ingredients. Waiting staff were equally magnificent, didnât once have to wait for a drink or anything else for that matter they really were in the ball! Fantastic night was had by all. Would have no hesitation in recommending

Following a business meeting in the area I decided to book dinner for my clients. I am so pleased I chose The White Bear.There was a warm greeting the moment we entered the building and this hospitality extended through the entire evening.Itâs rare to find a venue which exceeds expectation and this certainly did.The atmosphere was just perfect.From the great food and service through the great range of beers , wines and a lovely log fire.My clients and I had a great evening and if I am ever in the area again I will definitely go back.Thanks to all the staff for the hard work and making us feel very much at home.Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. Went here for a family celebration, on arrival we were scolded for being late, when in fact we were 10 minutes early ! The décor was very dated, as was the style and delivery of service. The food was luke warm and average. the table was wobbly and the place was draughty. There was nothing special about this place at all and it was vastly over priced for what we had to eat. The clue should have been that only one other table was occupied on our visit. A total disaster. We will not be returning and I would urge others not to book unless you want old fashioned décor and 1970's food and service.!!
