It is first mentioned as Thriberghen in 1159. The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

We recently called in at this restaurant for lunch during our long weekend visit exploring the lovely countryside in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. We were immediately greated by very friendly personnel and because of the good weather, we chose to sit on the terrace outside.The menu here is very good with quite a number of unusual tasty choices of food on it. As it was lunchtime, I chose the 'Scampi / Ossenhaas Salad', which consists of prawns, pieces of beef and green salad served-up in a very tasty Thai dressing and is reasonably large and filling (for a lunch). I was not disappointed !The nice atmosphere, choice of food and the very friendly staff made us return here again with friends on two more occasions (for lunch and drinks) during our small holiday in the area. We did not experience dinner here, but when you look at the beautiful inside decor of this restaurant, I am sure it would be a very nice place for an evening meal. I would certainly recommend it.Thankyou Jacqeline for your freindly service each time and I am sure we will return here again the next time we are in the area.

Wij kwamen speciaal naar dit restaurant omdat zij een vegetarische kaart op hun website hadden staan. Toen we de menukaart kregen, zat deze vegetarische kaart er echter niet bij. Deze zou vervangen worden, maar dat was nog niet gebeurd. In de tussentijd geen vegetarische gerechten meer dus. Gelukkig konden ze nog wel een kaasfondue regelen, maar het ging allemaal wel een beetje vreemd. Verder bestelden we allemaal wat frietjes bij het hoofdgerecht. Ze werden echter niet bij het hoofdgerecht geleverd en de frietjes (een heel kleine portie voor 4 man) werden pas uitgeserveerd toen de rest al op was. De bediening kan daarnaast maar 2 borden tegelijk dragen wat erg klungelig over komt.Het eten zelf was lekker en de eigenaresse was zeker niet onaardig, maar er valt nog veel te leren voor ik dit zou bestempelen als een goed restaurant.

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant but as soon as we saw the simple menu of Dutch inspired dishes we knew we had to go. The wait staff were lovely. And the food was delicious. And reasonably priced for a nice meal out.

I arrived on Sunday evening without a booking when they were already very busy. Whilst they have an indoor seating area everyone was outside as the weather was perfect. The service was efficient and friendly, the food excellent, a delightful family atmosphere. I started with crab soup that was absolutely delicious, they provided ample fresh bread to go with it - followed by steak and chips perfectly cooked. The only downside is that they donât offer Coca-Cola so I endured a Pepsi!

This restaurant belongs to the hotel and conference center of the same name. It is not located in the true city center of Zeist, but in the borough 'Kerckebosch'. Pleasant albeit a bit pricey.

The kind owner and hostess greets you at the porch. If you want to avoid the hassel of picking a meal from the menu; go here! The chef prepares one menu for all tables, only the allergies and the number of courses differ. Great wine accompanies the dishes. And!! They are sustainable as part of Euro-toques.

We can not praise this restaurant enough! There is a menu, but the 3, 4 or 5-course surprise meal always makes our night (you can exclude certain ingredients). The service is relaxed yet flawless. Your glass will never be empty. Often the chefs will bring out the plates and explain what they prepared. Do make a reservation! Parking in the streets around the restaurants.

Nice restaurant with a good food selection. We were 6 so we just asked for a set of starters to share which seems a good choice. The beef tartare was great also seafood. Only tomatoes and mozzarella were to plane.Followed by mains and deserts. Take their grilled veal stake as it tasted really good. In general very good food and friendly service. So far best restaurant for me in the area.
