We were looking for somewhere a bit special to celebrate our wedding anniversary and decided on Le Vieux Jean. This review is easy: everything was perfect: food, wine and service. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and would always come back if ever we were in Delft again. There were so many items on the menu that we would like to have tried. Reserving a table to avoid disappointment is advised.

Decent carte (mainly fish) well prepared fresh products served by attentioned staff. Small room = must reserve if you wish to eat there. Price a little too expensive but all in all no complaints

Table reservations are advisable at this popular place. Very good quail. The portions are quite small, you feel supposed to go for the four-dish meal. Good wine list. Fine location at a canal, bit the interiour is not too fancy.

This is a nice little hotel restaurant with a great view of the Center of Delft. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. We came here with two young kids (7 and 10) and they enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. The service is good, even the cooks (who came out to greet us) are friendly. Very unique for Dutch standards. They serve a variety of foods from steaks to pizzas and pastas and fish. The restaurant has the same musical decor as the rest of the restaurant and makes it a very chill, laid back and relaxing place to be. Highly recommend.
