The Bowral Brasserie

We were greeted promptly and given water but there was a slight delay before ordering. Apart from that the rest of the evening was lovely - good food & wine, prompt meal service, large proportions, and the ambient volume was low enough to converse without effort. If we lived here it would become a regular haunt!

Kookabar has been given a face lift and it looks great. Feeling like a 'little bit of Paris' and the food is superb. I have my favourites and Pascale knows exactly what I want. He is a charming Frenchman with a love for people & food which makes for a perfect choice when looking for something different. His specialty is lamb's fry (to die for), Lamb's brains (also to die for) and a variety of other delcious foods if they are not to your liking. You will not be disappointed in fact you will be delighted.Thank you very much we are glad you enjoyed it

Cafe Parisienne Bowral

We sat outside with a bowl of soup each, both of which were very nice!Inside the decor is just devine, gorgeously shabby chic with immense attention to detail. The furniture is to die for, as are the chandeliers, the two beautiful Rococo blackamoor statues are out of this world { am quite envious!} The attention to detail is 100% and your can see that a huge amount of love has gone into making this place so delightful.Denise you've done a wonderful job! but.... it is just such a great shame that the smell inside is awful. It stinks of old cooking oil instead of sweet smelling roses/ lavender/ perfume. With furniture like that, coupled with ambience, style and beautiful surroundings it should be smelling of something more like a French country side smell...The other thing that lets it down is the state of your toilet at the back.. it's dusty and dirty and can do with a good clean, a lick of white paint {to make it look bigger} perhaps even a nice chandelier with bright lights, a big CLEAN mirror, flowers ... a few more chic things! Apart from that it's all good..
