Again proprietor Jan van Moosdijk has served us a well balance, delightful and delicious afternoon Xmas lunch. The beautiful section of wines combined with the different and creatively presented dishes made the afternoon a special and very tasteful experience.Together with the friendly and forthcoming staff, "The Rooise Boerderij " is a real treat for any food and wine loving customer.

As a small group of food-lovers we are currently visiting as many Bib-Gourmand restaurants as possible. As we have currently visited about 4 of them we are getting into the stage in which we can compare them to each other quite well.Pricing Excellent: 5 courses with wines under ⬠75 per person, isn't that much for this type of restaurant.The meal itself: Up to the desert the courses were good, however did not provide the expected 'surprise' many of the dishes in other Bib's often contain (let me call it) a gimmick, however we did not experience this in these dishes. However when the desert was served we had the gotcha feeling in a minute!

Kwalitaria is inmiddels een begrip geworden voor kwaliteit . Dus ook in Best!!Keurig frisse zaak met vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke gerechten; gewoon goed!!

On a Friday evening the restaurant was not fully booked but enough people not to feel alone. It is a large restaurant but it doesn't feel large. A very welcoming and warm atmosphere. The menu offers special burgers (pulled pork, or French brie and honey) and a nice variety of meat and fish dishes. The bavette is delicious!Please also try out the special beers that are being served here!

We ate here a few times and every time it has been very nice.The staff is very friendly, likes to make chat and take the time to make you feel welcome.The food is very good. The portions are more than enough. Don't take starters if you like deserts!Prices are fair, quality is good.Very nice place for a unplanned evening dinner with friends.

Wonderful restaurant, friendly and hard working staff, excellent food, much choice on the menu, everything has it's own flavor and taste. You can see and taste that the food food has been prepared with love. Very well priced. Wonderful for a romantic dinner but also for a bigger group. Truly a hidden gem!

We had a family lunch in the separate Tuinkamer. Airconditioning helped as it was one of the warmer days of the year. After a nice welcome and bubbles, the three course menu (choices for starter, main and desert) was good. Very nice presentation and timely service. The food was good but perhaps somewhat overcomplicated with too many ingredients fighting for recognition. We heard no complaints and everyone enjoyed the beautiful plates. The extra charge for a cheese board instead of sweet desert was a bit excessive but the cheese selection was ok. House wines are priced slightly too high for the quality. The friandises should be changed - the current selection is not great nor are the tastes very well balanced. All in all a very nice lunch and we gladly return. Service is friendly.

I make it a habit to eat at star restaurants every now and then. Just to make sure that I realise how good food should taste.The good:-6 course dinner with wine. Excellent combinantion of wines and food. Nice taste explosions.-trendy tasteful designed interior-service was excellent.-not booked solid 3 months in advance.The bad:-Price. Now I am aware that for these kind of restaurants you need to dig deep in your wallet. But in the end I paid 160 pp which I still think is a lot compared to other star restaurants. The ugly-None

We had diner at Bastille with 10 people. Although it was possible to eat a la carte, the host advised us to go for the surprise menu, to avoid long waiting times. Better to know before than to experience during the meal.The quality of the food is very good. Presentation (on the plates) is also very tasteful and original. Perfect to have nice evening with friends, business, etc.The staff is still a bit 'getting used to', but they are friendly, helpful and amicable.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a long evening dinner with friends or for business.I did not try the lunch menu yet.

Service is slow and okay. Took him a while to bring us menu. Not as friendly as we would expect from a waiter. Ordered some drinks. Did not try their dinner as we were in a hurry to go back to The Hague. Dear Cherlene,Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
