This was a great little spot for a drink and was very close to the Best Western. It's set up on the second floor so it was nice view of the street. We ordered a couple drinks and some snacks and enjoyed the music and friendly locals.

Tons of fried chicken joints around Quepos, but we loved this roadside option for something a bit healthier. Little english is spoken, and no actual menu, but you can look at the menu board (pictures and combo numbers!) and point to the food on the steam table in front of you and it all works fine. We had combo 8, a quarter roast chicken (pollo asado) with rice and black beans, a couple of potatoes, a fried plantain, a tortilla, and steamed veggies (you can choose from a number of salads including cole slaw or beet salad) - and a fountain soda. Delicious, and about CRC3600 (US$6.50) per plate.

It was a really rainy night and there was a basketball game we wanted to watch, so we decided to order pizza to our hotel room. The order taker was very patient with my broken Spanish, and we got some very tasty pizza (with the correct order!) right on time. Well priced too, considering it was delivery in the rain (and I mean heavy rainforest rain), plus plenty left over for a snack the next day.Thank you so much for your posting. We are happy you liked the food and that our staff served you well. We really appreciate them. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Costa Rica and will come back to see us in the future.

This little "hole in the wall" place serves the best pizza. We often noticed a line up there so decided to give it a try. It's pizza by the slice - can't recall the prize but it was very inexpensive. No place to sit down to eat - it's more of a take-away place but definitely worth trying if you feel like having some pizza as a light meal or snack. Enjoy.

Many restaurants take the library to make bold claims. In Jaco we visited a hamburger shop that boasted to have the best burger in Costa Rica. I would describe the meal as unexceptional, leaving my wallet as hollow as my apatite in the end. A polar experience was had at La Santa Plancha. The hamburger restaurant claims to have the best value in Manual Antonio, and they deliver! I was not only satisfied with the value but the quality as well. 3 burgers in 2 days proves the value. Excellent work La Santa Plancha!

El Wagon is hands down our favorite restaurant in Manuel Antonio and has been for the past several years. It's one of the top things our family looks forward to year after year. Absolutely love the El Wagon Salad and Margarita Pizza. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Make sure you tell Ceasar Lance and Rhonda said HI!!!!
