I just love the Subway here in Hammond, La....on SW Railroad....Where can you go and eat healthy..you have several breads to choose from to make a delicious sandwich. Every time I was there, the staff was friendly and fast service. You may have to wait awhile if it's rush hour, so go before or after, like I do. Enjoy your sandwich!!!

This a chain in this part of the country. Menu limited to Chicken tenders, fries, toasted bread and cole slaw. Chicken hot and juicy. Bread melted un your mouth. Cole slaw and fries average. Restaurant named after founders dog.

The folks who work in this eatery are very friendly and helpful, especially for people who haven't eaten here. Quick-serv sandwiches are pretty much the same, but the variable seems to be breads, chips and drinks.Firehouse Subs has a sensible variety of all three, and especially their limeade. This particular store is easier to get to from I-12 than 1-55, but both are still pretty easy. I'll stop here again when I'm passing through Hammond.
