We were fortunate to stay for the whole of this summer and Under the pine once again became our prefered restaurant in Koukounaries .We visited many times with different family members (who visited us whilst we were out here). Great food each time freshly cooked and delicious .Still very busy but there is a quick turn around of tables. Very reasonably priced. Had take away gyros a few times on our way back from the beach. Always really tasty and filling. The young lad serving was very friendly but on one occasion there was a young girl 18ish? giving everyone dirty looks, basically throwing peoples food at them and acting like a proper spoilt brat who just didn't want to be there. My advice would be to sack her before she starts losing you business. Other than the brat it would have been 5 stars as it's a little gem of a place.

Had eaten here a couple of years ago so thought I would give it another try this time. The staff are as friendly as I remember and the food may be simple but always fresh and tastes good while also being very fairly priced. A lovely cheap and very friendly place to have a light bite to eat

By the looks of it it's like a takeway fastfood but with decent tables and waiting service. The food is very good and the prices are... well as in a fastfood restaurant. Being surrounded with much more expensive places not far away from here, it feels kinda funny to eat so cheap. It's not however the only such place in Skiathos, it seems like some restaurants have tendency to combine both - good prices and good food, which is rarely seen on premium locations in Europe. What's even better is that service is fantastic. Swift, accurate and you get served with a smile and a joke to accompany it. Thumbs up Yonie & the crew, you're doing a great job!
