La Perrada Del Gordo

This place is the bomb diggety. Where else can you get fresh food with quality ingredients and there is something for everyone. You can get grilled steak which is a large serving of savory deliciousness or you can get tostones or 4 lechhes. Arepas. I could go on forever but that is how varied the menu is. The hands down favorite has been the ultimate Gordo burger. You can't eat it all at one time. Now I am in love with the grilled corn in bowl wo meat- its mixed with cheese and other whoever knows what. Just order it. You won't be able to eat all you want so just go continually until you can have it all. Seriously that good in taste and that good in value. Don't forget a cafe con leche.

Bolay is a fresh salad bar where the staff fills a bowl (2 sizes) of your choice of bases, vegetables & proteins. Service is fast except during lunch hour times. We have been there a couple times during off times and the place was clean and fantastic. Busy lunch times are a different story. We love Bolay...we just go during off times.

The shakes and boneless wings are good, but this place is expensive! For 4 people it is like $50 just to have four meals or dinners with drink and side. It is not cheap. Go after 8pm as I guess the drinks are half price. The food is cold when it gets to you, the fries and onion rings are cold and not great. They need to serve the boneless wings with a fork, they are too messy. The shakes are good and nice variety. They have a lot of slushy type drinks too. The bathroom is very small. They do have some tables outside, nothing inside. The menu print is small and hard to read somewhat. Overall, fine, but expensive and it is hit or miss as far as items, some good, others no, and food is not really served too hot. they have no fish on the menu in case you can't eat meat on Friday for Lent. Doubt I would make this a regular place to eat.
