Been there for 24 years now..... TWICE A WEEK ..... every owner maintains the standard set by Anton v Dyk. 1995. Eats are prepared while you wait...... due to high demand may be 30 minutes. else phone and collect.Tuesday evening there is a Pensioners discount ......then due to high phone and real persons demand the wait can be longer.This is super food for EAT-ON-DA-GO, eat on your patio/beach/ Ooskus benchesThe BREAKFAST BOX available until 12.30 is out of this world.BUT ON TOP OF THE ABOVE YOU CAM BUY FRESH FISH FOR BBQ AT HOME

The Grille Shack at Pit Stop on the mouth of the Steenbras River on Clarence Drive between Gordon's Bay and Kogelbaai (famous Surf spot) is just the place to replenish. You can either stop for good coffee, a light meal or something more substantial. The food is good, especially the fish & chips as well as excellent Burgers.The restaurant is situated in probably one of the most scenic parts of South Africa, framed by the Steenbras mountains, False Bay and the Steenbras River, fynbos flaura and lots of fresh air. Service is friendly, good and professional.

Thought after all the stories of Spur we will try it once moreWaited 35 minutes for service, had to call someone. Ourwaitress that stood in for someone else was very good. Complimentsto her. Waited another 40 minutes for food. Got the chicken scnitchel, no spices and cold.
