We have three fish and chip shops in kippax , I will only ever go to this one , its the best by far. All fish are cooked fresh on entering the shop , all staff are very poilite , the food is alway lovely and the fish are big too . The shop is clean and the decore is very up market . I would give this fish shop ten out of ten , well done to all that work there .

So many pizza slices to choose from they all looked amazing. Plus a few sides too. Really yummy but could have been hotter. Warm isnât enough for me! Still loved it though

Oceanâs was becoming a regular port of call but it took a hit on this visit. The Haddock and chips were as good as ever, the dessert were a little disappointing, I had extra custard but have to say there wasnât that much, but food wise it was still very good. £51 for three including drinks good value. What let it down was the service. Not sure what was going on in the back room but it was an effort to get them out to serve. I had to get up twice to ask them to come to the table, this in a restaurant where for most of the time we three were the only occupantsIf this happens again it will be off the list for sure.

This take away has got to be the best in Garforth. A lot of people compare it with Nandos, I think it's a lot better (and cheaper). You must try this, the chicken is fantastic.

We visited early one Fridayevdningeith the restaurant being around half full but withwhstloomed to bea full complement of waiters, we ordered and received both drinks and poppadums with none of the waiters appearing to be interested in taking orders for food. After being in the place for around an hour a more mature suited gentlemen ( may be the owner ) came in and kicked the waiters into gear with himself immediately taking our order. When the food arrived one of the dishes came with a side salad which had serving tong neatly placed on the top of it, when putting the dish on the table the serving tong dropped onto the floor, the "helpful waiter" picked it up and replaced it onto the salad, needless to say it did not get eaten.The food served was very good, we did in addition take out a couple of special banana ice creams which were excellent.All in all an average experience through poor service......mr suited man, you need to be on site to drive the standards if you want to make the restaurant a success.

I always call this "The Crusader" chippy, originally because it's situated near The Crusader pub (which is, in itself, a nice place to while away the afternoon), now probably more because, with the amount of traffic & roadworks you must navigate round Garforth to get there, you feel as though you've been to Jerusalem and back when you arrive home with the booty.Worth it, however.I had a really nice cheeseburger and chips, and had a sausage thrown in for good measure; and very good it all was, too.Daughter had fish & chips with curry sauce which she polished off with vigour.The staff are friendly and the premises clean and tidy.Well worth a visit!
