I ordered a Pizza from here in person ( not by phone ) and I found the selection process a bit confusing , with different options , when all you want to do is order a 10 inch Napoletana pizza - the order sheet took a bit of working out ( and no, I had not been drinking ) - so anyway I took it home .When I opened the box my first disappointment was that the Pizza was greasy when I took it home - the second was this vanilla flour that they roll the pizza in when cooking - didn't like the taste of that , the third and killer point was the fact that the Pizza just wasn't very tasty ( Crolla's do a better Pizza in Gala , fact ) I point out that I have been to Genoa and had a Pizza there (best ever in my life ), so I know what I talking about - It just wasn't worth the money , and I notice that the Domino's Pizza place seems a lot less busy and far less staff are employed -Won't be going here again for some time

Ordered a pretty basic takeaway thinking it would be delivered quickly, but after waiting 1hour and 15 minutes got dried up chips and cold King Rib. Totally yuk

My friends and I ordered for a delivery last night, on the phone we were told it would be 1 hour, 2 hours and 5 minutes after we ordered it the food arrived, not hot I'd like to add. The food itself is OK but there are better places in Galashiels so I won't be ordering from here again.

Greggs sausage rolls and pasties are the best in the business... The are warm, very tasty, filling, appetizing, good value for money, they have a unique taste all of their own... The premises are always, inviting, warm and friendly...You are definitely converted to their food after your first bite... 110% Guaranteed and Highly Recommended...Every time I visit Gala from Northern Ireland, I always make a point of going to Greggs for something to eat, and I never regret it... I would like to wish the company Good Luck for the future, and may their business go from strength to strength as the years progress...

Best local Chinese takeaway around, the salt and spicy chicken wings are lush and so reasonably priced just like the rest of the menu. I would recommend the chilli chicken. It is also available to order and collect or to be delivered which is handy if you live a bit away or are just wanting a lazy night in. It is also open till late which is amazing if you do shift work or are out for a night On the town.

Ordered takeaway food here on Sunday evening for delivery. Arrived within 40 mins, pleasant driver and food still hot! The portions are huge! So much so we refrigerated half of it for dinner the next day!! Salt pepper & chilli chicken starter was the best weâve had for a long time. Hubby had the Thai red curry - he loves hot spicy food - and it lived up to its description - he thoroughly enjoyed it. Slightly more expensive than the other local Chinese takeaways but most definitely worth the extra couple of pounds. We have used other Chinese takeaway restaurants in the area and this was recommended to us by a friend. So glad we gave it a try and will definitely be using in the future.
