Stopped off here after walking around the town. We wanted something quick and tasty and this fitted the bill. Decent portions and cooked fresh. Nice staff as well.

We loved the food, it was great!! we came in pretty wet after our bike tour and they offered us to put our clothes in the dryer while we were eating, they were super nice and their food was delicious!

Called in here for a late takeaway while in Donegal recently and with little expectation of good food. I was delighted to be served with an excellent portion of cod and chips.

In this review, I'm only going to talk about the chips. I love my chips and in my opinion, the tastiest chips in Donegal are from Donegal's Famous Chipper. They are just what the perfect "chip" is to me, homemade, golden and crispy without being dried out. A bag of chips from here is a very simple and yummy treat. This shop is always my first choice for fast food in Donegal. Instead of being called "Donegal´s Famous Chipper" it should be called "Donegal´s BEST Chipper". Just sayin´.

This cafe is actually located in the village of Dunkineely about 10 miles west of Donegal Town on the N56. Great place for any meal of the day, but especially for breakfast or lunch. Food is well prepared and equally well priced. Excellent value. The service is friendly and efficient. One may either sit to be served or order takeout at the counter. Excellent place to stop along the Wild Atlantic Way.
