Arriving in Arecibo from the countryside on our way back to the San Juan area at lunch time, we were originally looking for a more traditional lunch but the GPS was not accurately handling some of the one-way roads so we retreated back to the main road, State Road 2, and decided to get a quick lunch at this McDonalds which always please the kids anyways. We found the restaurant to be very clean, service was prompt and the food was hot, fresh and typical of a McDonaldâs. In an area that caters more to locals than tourists, I thought there could be an issue with language but ordering in English was smooth and they got our order right the first time.
