I knew about this place from trip advisor and tried it on the same day....it is one of the best restaurants...the food is tasty...i tried the pizza and the meat pie...as for the desserts, they are out of this world...I tried the lemon cheese cake and the pie I even had 2 more for take away...even the fresh juices were extremely delicious...a must try Thanks a lot. You are welcome any time1 ;-)

We arrived in the area on my wife's birthday and wanted somewhere special to eat that night, we found this restaurant whilst walking along the beach and thought it looked great for lunch. The manager told us it was not open during the day but that they were open in the evening so we booked and returned later well the wait was worth it as they had laid a special romantic table for us and had prepared a gourmet platter of local seafood, lobster, rock lobster, prawns, line caught fish and crab too, the waiter was very attentive and professional which made for an excellent evening and celebration, we will be back not just for the food but also because the accommodation looked excellent, thank you

Nice place, good food (tho they forgot my friends sandwich she had to ask for it to be served) the best coffee on Zanzibar! Chilled-back lounge area with big bag-pillows and sofa right on the beach!

We went here twice when staying nearby. The food was always, hot, tasty and fresh. The house wine was ok (cheap n cheerful) and everything was good value.The decor was simple and the view of the ocean is beautiful.. I would definitely recommend for a simple pizza/pasta meal.

We stayed at the Z Hotel for a couple of days and visited the Saruche almost every day. We tried different dishes and have to say that all various courses were delishes. Very creative in itâs variety and everything of top quality. The service was always attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody who wants to have tasty meal and a beautiful evening at the Ende of the day. Further, if you get the chance to get a table directly at the beach, that would complete a perfect visit.

we chose this bar restaurant mainly because of the roof-top providing a good shelter from the beach boys along with a good view from the ground. food was nice, only the sea food carbonara seamed somehow ...strange, but everything else was nice. kind staff and good shade during the afternoon.

Absolutely amazing food. The ceviche was probably the best I had outside Central America. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly.It is a bit dark so you donât really see what you are eating, but we the tastes were outstanding.Highly recommendable!

I can't believe the best restaurantin Jambiani clearly chooses to violate the law and allow smoking at dinning tables despite our complaints.DISGUSTING!!!Dear guest,First we thank you for having dinner at our restaurant twice.Regarding the smoking, first our restaurant is an open restaurant, second we cannot prohibit smoking while in many restaurants on the Island is allowed, this because Tanzania has no any law that states the prohibition of smoking at restaurants, but is the case of discipline, an individual him/herself to understand that smoking can be annoying and troublesome to others. About the complaints, we didn't receive any complaint about this, but i we do for any troublesome or problem, taking action on it is our first rule.But perhaps we will take your review as an advice for our restaurant.Thanks.

We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we had really nice food and service. The fish is fresh, tasty and well cooked and all the ingredients are locals, showing that is an ethic business. We really appreciate that they donât use too many plastic bottles encouraging the clients to get the jar of water to reduce plastic pollution. Everything is home made, even the pasta, which is amazing. We stayed at the hotel next to it so for us was perfect but the nice thing is that we could see many many people from other hotels in the area coming to have dinner at the Bistrò! The owners Salvatore and Roberta take care of every little thing and they make sure that every details is perfect. The location is elegant and modern with a touch of Zanzibar style. The service is friendly and fast (something difficult to find in Zanzibar)! Prices are really good especially for quality of the food and location. We had such a great time and great food! Your words are so sweet like you, dear francy.....We try to do our best every day to give a good service to the guests and we are so happy to host guests from all the hotels of Kendwa and also from other cities. Quality of the food, cleaning and service are our focus point , we are so proud you noticed and mentioned, as also the use of jag of glass instead the plastic bottle of water.....when guests are satisfied we are more than happy!!!!!!!
