Visited here on our journey back from Porec to Pula under recommendation. To start, food was amazing. Pizza's excellent for those that wanted that and Spare Ribs a good choice for others. Some had the Rump Steak and the reaction was mixed. The grilled chicken dish is enough for two big eating kids!However, the experience was a little strange. Firstly, no English on the menu so we were trying to translate using Google... Not ideal as we saw good food coming out but couldn't identify it? The most unfortunate part was how disjointed the meal came out. Pizzas out within 15 minutes so three out of nine sorted people. Meat dishes came out an HOUR later??? Not an ideal experience.

Fazana is crouded in summer so are all the restaurant but this one has a large family-like team doing their very best to please their customer. Food was deligious and LOCAL ! Even the normal housewise was good. We messed up the table accidently and they cleaned it up immeditly AND with a smile

We stopped in this very busy restaurant, but we didn't had high expectations. ( since we were invited to come in from guy that works on entrance and explaining menu) But then surprise! We had maybe best fish plate ever in Croatia. Fresh fish, grilled squid, sardines, everything perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and fast, food also came quickly. Big terrace upstairs with nice view. Nice touch at the end by offering some free honey liquour. Definitely reccomand.

The decor is very interesting with the unusual art work when first entering the restaurant. It's quite a small restaurant with tables pushed close together. The food was absolutely lovely! - The portions were very small however, for the price, so probably could have done with doubling it! We had really good service but it was a quiet evening with only a couple other tables so I imagine that aided our prompt service. It was really hot in there as they had no cooling system, with not much space this did make things a little uncomfortable in such heat. I would recommend it as the food was so delicious. We had a large group with everyone having a different item from the menu so everything was enjoyed - particularly the frittata & pasta dishes.

It is not easy to find good croatian restaurants close to touristic sites but this one does meet the standards of a very good restaurant. It is positioned in a quiet area, in a lovely private garden. Prices are reasonable. Service is perfect, and most important the meals are prepared from fresh products, and are good. So, if looking for a real restaurant with a real chef, you won't be disappointed.

Very nice and cosy place with friendly and quick staff. The tuna tartar was amazing, the octopus pretty decent. Drinks of very good quality, premium ingredients and well prepared. Overall a very good experience for our family. When my wife was cold the waiter brought her a sweater from one of the staff, very nice.

We came without booking but we were well received and a waiter saved us a table outside after the guests left. Thanks to the previous comments we took a fish platter to share and potatoe chips for our child. It was very good

We walked past this restaurant on the outskirts of Vodnjan on a Sunday afternoon when it was closed. It had an interesting ranch like look from the gates but you couldnât really tell what was hidden within.We were so very pleased to return here though on a stormy Tuesday evening where after calling ahead (in English which was no problem) to make a reservation for 10 to be met by very friendly staff.Most tables were taken and there was a very pleasant ambience to the marquee style dining area. The staff were simply amazing, informing us on the menu and recommended Istrian dishes.We started with the cured meat platter which was awesome. For mains, the three men in the group could not resist the âknee of a young cowâ which we believe was shin. It was phenomenal! So tender and served on a bed of beautifully seasoned potato chips with a variety of roasted veg and garlic.Others in the group enjoyed various pasta dishes but the stand out meal was the steak! The men of the group begged the lady who had it to share - which she did. So tender, full of flavour and such a enticing colour. Great to finish off with a Grappa. One of the best meals ever!

We had the large tapas to share (veg and fish) that were lovely and inventive. For main we had the steak and there was more than enough to share - brilliant steak. The local teran wine was the perfect accompaniment. The service was great, would recommend and and we will return next time we are in Fazana!

The restaurant is absolutely amazing! It is situated on the seaside which gives a romantic atmosphere with candles and some really good music. The staff is really easygoing and efficient. We didn't know what to order so they suggested a grilled fish for me and for my boyfriend some squids. Everything was sooo delicious and fresh. The dessert and the wine were great too, and the prices are really affordable!The fresh juice and coffee are really nice (they give free cookies ).
