Last time I visited this place it was quite delapidated. Now there is a new owner who has revitalised the place! Re-opened more than a month ago. Waiter knows a lot about wine and food is great. In the summer there is a terrace to eat outside and I saw an outdoor bar which I hope will also be part of the fun. It is next to the impressive Aquaduc de Roquefavour in a beautiful area just outside Aix-en-Provence on the road to Ventabren.

This grill restaurant is a perfect choice for all guests that are looking forward to spending a nice and relaxing evening in a warm and familiar atmosphere with the very friendly personnel always striving for making you feel perfectly comfortable and totally at your ease.After a couple of visits you'll feel as if at home: the personnel knows your preferences pretty well in terms of apéritif, the wine, the dishes and the desert.The menu is able to satisfy all preferences, including all varieties of grilled meat or fish as well as diferent types of pasta and pizza or salads.And don't miss the "De la Casa" dessert at the end, which taste is really remarkable.The parking facilities are just in front of the restaurant.I highly recommend to pay a visit to the Oligrill: you will be more than satisfied and return there again.Dear guest, Andreas, thank you very much for your comments. The restaurant was recommended to us by our landlord. The entourage is very nice, garden, hospitality, all very provencal but we were a bit disappointed with the food, not too tasty, pretty heavy, average. We didn't go back.Seemed like a missed chance, with better food it would be a very nice and recommendable place.

This spacious restaurant and bar is located in a commercial area, a bit away from residential areas.Food is rather creative (except desserts maybe) according to the trendy 'bistronomy' (bistro-style gastronomy).Good choice of French and foreign wines and beers and other drinks.We ordered the 'tasting menu' which actually is a fixed menu with appetizers (delicious), a starter (classic foie-gras), a main dish (lamb or cod the night we came) and a dessert. 39⬠not including drinks, which I found somewhat expensive.My food was quite tasty, with adequate portion size. Just the dessert was disappointing a bit (too sweet and more expected - classic - than the rest of the meal).Service is efficient and kind, thanks to them !Good, relaxed atmosphere.If I go again, I'd rather go for à la carte, without dessert.Thank you very much for your review on our restaurant.We'll be pleased to welcome you another time when you'll be visiting Provence.Best Regards

A very good restaurant in this small town. The chief cooks the meat in the fire just near you! So the place is very warm (so very cosy if you go during the winter) and he makes extremely good dishes. Intimacy and enthousiasm is waht you will get there. However you should call before you go because there are often too many people...

We last ate 2 years ago at this truly fabulous terrace restaurant when it had quirky, provencal-meets-modern-bohemian furniture... Since then Dan has bought and transformed this stunning eerie into the super-sophisticated, ultra comfortable & modern. Lovely attentive service... not all fully trained! The view towards and over Marseille is breathtaking. The Michelin-starred chef has remained and he is now creating even more amazing food. Every dish took our breath for its look and taste... We chose the Bois set menu at â¬72... Every morsel was outstanding with the scallops ranking as one of the best dishes we have ever eaten. Treat yourself to a very good wine... it's worth it!!!

Located at the top of the hill in Ventabren, the restaurant is in the village nature park. The view down towards the L'Etang de Berre lake is very nice. There are tennis courts and kids playground equipment just outside the restaurant. They have outdoor seating on the terrace as well as in the garden. Food is good and service is polite and friendly.
