The interior and the entire surroundings are of Russian character and was only a short walk from the centre and our Hotel. We were served by a waitress in traditional garb, the food was varied and delicious. We shared 2 different mushroom dishes, mushroom dumplings with sour cream and chicken and mushrooms in a cream sauce under a cheesy crust and duck with apple, with a couple of draft beers each, some herb vodkas to finish off a wonderful meal, all up, about 1600 Roubles (about $40 Australian),

Went twice for drinks&snacks and for lunch. Good selection of drinks, even single malts, plus cocktails. I liked local unfiltered. Burgers and snacks were great, business lunch selection tasty and inexpensive. Steaks must be good too. Attentive hosts and friendly atmosphere. Good for small and mid-size groups, although coming solo would also be comfortable. Wi-fi is excellent. Highly recommend!

Went as a group for dinner. As other reviews have mentioned lovely atmosphere. Service was professional but very slow. Took a long time for our meals to arrive however once they did the food was faultless. Wine was rather expensive at $90 but pasta and pizzas were very cheap and offset . As good as you will get Italian outside of italy

The cafe is centrally located. The interior looks really pleasant and neat. The staff is very polite and is ready to help. Coffee is tasty (including not standard variants, i.e. lavender and rose latte), cakes are of a good variety. We gave a try to eat past and liked it. I enjoyed our supper and highly recommend visiting this cafe, should you visit Novgorod.

Found this little gem for an early dinner/late lunch. Being a crazy cat lady, it suited me to have cat 'icons' everywhere, but not overpoweringly so. The food was excellent, service was prompt and in English. Prices were not too bad either. Range of food included italian (homemade pastas and pizzas) to traditional russian. The dishes I took were very tasty and price was good. One time the meat was not warm enough, but the next day it was perfect. It's a bar/restaurant so sometimes there are some people smoking a water pipe next to you.The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Nice interior. About 1 km from the Kremlin.
