This restaurant is temporarily closed for renovations.
ATMOSPHERE: From the very start to finish, the service was fantastic. The vibe was cheerfully busy without feeling crowded or rushed. FOOD: The menu is exactly what I like - thoughtfully creative without being too whacky; Charming without pretention. The pricing is spot on. The starter of "A Pair Of Pears" is possibly the best starter anywhere in Kent. It's a MUST HAVE, my husband & I still haven't stopped raving about it.This would be an utterly faultless meal if the venison had been cooked medium-rare instead of almost well done (husband ordered the exact same as I did and it arrived the exact same as mine). Thankfully it was still very tasty. PERFECT FOR: Dates and girls nights.

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great
Cote is certainly one of the more reliable restaurant chains based on my experiences to date and the Sevenoaks branch provided further proof. We had a cosy corner for 4 and although one suspects it could become noisy (bare floors, no curtains etc) our lunchtime chat was not disrupted. Service was quick and fairly efficient (waitress overlooked extra sides of spinach and tomato salad) which allowed adequate time to comb the menu.My wife and the other lady opted for the Fish Parmentier (£13.25) a delicious mix of cod, haddock, prawn and salmon topped with mashed potato and gruyere cheese and the men shared the Cote de Boeuf (£18,95) which was a 22oz char grilled ribeye sliced off the bone and cooked perfectly medium rare and served with Béarnaise sauce. The meat was tender and had a good flavour so represented excellent value for money.I would certainly return and may do later this week!

We really should come here more often. With other eateries having chosen to close in Sevenoaks this really is the only âno chainâ restaurant left. I wonder why??A warm welcome...real Italian hospitality...great wine...fabulous food (oh my goodness those tomatoes are so good!)...desert (because you have to) and coffee to finish. Never rushed and such good value.A really great meal. Enough said.

Osteria is a place where the best of Italian foods are served ~ pastas and pizzas are prepared with toppings and sauces made from a mouth-watering selection of meats and fish, cheeses and vegetables, herbs and olive oil, all creatively combined to make th
We rolled up to India, it seemed. Two elephants, (later floodlit) graced the drive, as did palm trees and a Buddha. The modern hotel building stood incongruously next to the Osteria Chartwell, a period timber framed building and the whole impression conveyed oddness. The Osteria was staffed by friendly, yet Manuel-type beings, who were very anxious to please, but the speed of service was rapid indeed, (the main course arriving IMMEDIATELY after the starter) Having said all this, the food was really very good indeed. Starters were lovely, portion sizes were perfect and my sea bass was one of the best Iâve ever eaten. This is a very good place to eat if you can ignore the incongruity of your surroundings. As for the staff- they are really very sweet!
Such a nice restaurant. The food was amazing and tasted lovely & fresh. The cocktails were also really nice and a good price for the location. They have a long list of cocktails to choose from so thereâs something for everyone. The restaurant is on the first floor then they have a large bar at the top. They also do karaoke once a month, how can you go wrong?!Hello Thank you very much for your lovely comment.
