Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!

Im letzten Jahr waren wir schon einmal dort, allerdings war es nicht ganz perfekt. In diesem Jahr waren wir zu 100 Prozent überzeugt. Die Küche hat sich enorm verbessert. Alle Speisen waren extrem lecker und sehr schmackhaft. Der Service war klasse und sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder.

I have been touring in Netherlands between cities and small villages, had breakfast in the best rated spots, this cafe is excellent. Fresh and I mean fresh right from the oven croissants, the best I tried in Netherlands, I put them first before Omleg/Amsterdam. You just need to wait 20 minutes for the croissants to be baked. Service was great, friendly lady working there extending help with a smile.If you are anywhere near or in Roerdam, this place is a must for breakfast.

We had a drink and later on also dinner here. When the weather is nice, sir outside. The staff is very friendly and the food is ok, although we thought somewhat overpriced.

Escaping the busyness of a holiday resort we looked for a place to have a family dinner. Staff was nice and kids were given drawing material immediately. Choice is plenty. The place wasn't packed as it was still early (around 18:00). Food serving time was good especially when visiting with kids. Our choice was a starter and main course which was good, nothing fancy. Pricing is average.

Niet voor niets zit dit terras altijd vol: gezellig terras met vriendelijke bediening. Je kunt er een lekker broodje eten maar ook een wat uitgebreidere maaltijd. Geen culinaire hoogstandjes maar voor elk wat wils. Bruin, authentiek café. Vlaai en bier van hier!

De Kantine is an unexpected find in a small town - the quality of the cuisine is truly memorable, and worth going out of one's way for. The atmosphere of this pub is warm and inviting, with traditional touches to the decor in an overall setting that is consistent with up-to-date aesthetics. I much enjoyed the special beers that were on tap at the time of my visit, but the highlight without a doubt was one of the best club sandwiches I have had anywhere in the world. On all fronts - presentation, freshness of ingredients, subtlety of preparation, and clean, crisp constellation of delicious flavors - this sandwich was exceptional. Finally, the service at this establishment is welcoming and attentive, and an important part of a great overall experience. I cannot recommend de Kantine enough, and look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.
