We were in this restaurant with sime friends on Saturday evening. Place is very nice even if Summertime is better because there are a lot of nice places outside in the garden with nice gazebos.There is live music where is posdible also to dance, nice one even if a little too noisy.It is one of the best place in Pyatigorsk and often speak in English.Recommended Better to have reservation before

Our joint 1st place restaurant in Pyatigorsk, together with 1001 nights. This restaurant is next door to, and owned and run by, the same owners as Hermitage Restaurant, which locals told us is the oldest restaurant in Pyatigorsk. (Unfortunately during our stay it was closed for refurbishment) Also next door to it is Nostalgie Caffee and we went to have a look and, My Oh My, the sweets there looked fantastic. Anyway Nostalgie is a European Cuisine, French Inspired, restaurant. The food and staff are of high quality. Can highly recommend the beef cheeks and the duck breast salad. If you feel like a good steak than you are in the right place. They have a good choice of aged marbled steaks and they cook them divinely. Very good choice on menu and portions are good size not nouvelle cuisine.....Price is higher than other restaurant in the area, but it reflects the quality of food/service. (around 3500 rub per head including 1/2 bottle of wine per person for 3 courses)If you want a high quality European Style meal that I think that this is your best choice in Pyatigorsk.

The outside looks terrible, but the interior is very nice. The greek salad was very fresh, with super juicy vegetables and a nice, bright dressing, but the "feta" was mediocre. I had the halibut (палÑÑÑ) - the fish was delicious, but the tomato and basil sauce it came with was a bit overpowering and didn't match the halibut. My bf had stroganoff, and loved it. We also ordered fresh baked rolls (delicious) and sopped up all his sauce. Everything tasted homemade and cooked with pride. Would definitely go back.

This is a great Middle East/South Russian Caucas cuisine restaurant . The food here is very good. I put it at joint first with Nostalgie Restaurant as for quality of food but at a cheaper price. I suggest one of the sadj dishes which consist of wood barbecued meats with home made marinades. For Western People don't worry it is not like the usual Western style BBQ. The spices herbs and sauces are Middle East on these dishes. We had the mixed meat consisting of lamb cutlets, beef liver, pork and chicken. All were cooked perfectly and the spices were very well balanced. We also had a warm beef salad which was excellent. Good deserts too. And the portions are quite large. BIG PLUS they have a menu in English. The service is impeccable. Also they have live music and belly dancing shows. Price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recomended.

I have been there before. The proval lake is really amazing. The way light falls there, the way pigeons fly... You should see there and after you should go Proval cafe to get some rest and watch the city Pyatigorsk. Just amazing with my Yulia

My wife, who is from a town not far from Pyatigorsk, adored another restaurant on Kirova, which we have had some superb food, but unfortunately at our visit it was awful, so we decided not to go back. We tried another restaurant which had good reviews, but it was very poor. We had a good look at Pechorin after our walk to Proval. It seemed to be very luxurious and expensive. Luxurious it is. I will come to the cost later. We had a look at other restaurants and decided on Pechorin. I wish we had done it earlier.The restaurant is right opposite the cafe but the only difference is ambience. Same food, same prices, The restaurant had live music and both is surprising, you did not have to pay and the music was of exceptional quality. The pianist played Ludovico Eienaudi, much to my delight. The food was of extremely good quality. The wine list was good, and for the Tsinandali wine, it was very reasonable. Of course on a hot day, I wanted a beer, and it was good. Service was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. The final cost surprised me. It was very reasonable indeed. No more expensive than many other far inferior to Pechorin, and cheaper and better quality than some which are more expensive. We came to Tesla for a short dinner as we have been in a hurry so there was no chance for a big dinner with starters, etc. I ordered âThe spicy burgerâ and banana milkshake. I should say that the burger was great: almost on a good American level. The service was also friendly and attentive. The pricing is pretty reasonable - definitely for that level of the food. The portions are big so donât order too many dishes: even if you are hungry, one starter and one main course is more than enough. Highly recommended.
