Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.

The restaurant is in the middle of the vineyards. We had dinner outside on the terrace at dusk. Peace, quiet, beauty, luxurious atmosphere.We chose the 'degustazione' menu, 4 courses matched with 5 wines of the Buglioni Bugiardo estates. Each dish was excellent, refined, nicely mixing traditional cuisine with modern creativeness. And the food-wine match really made each other shine.Service was perfectly refined but not intrusive, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to sample the region's wines, including Ripasso and Amarone, and treat yourself to a refined and romantic evening.

Knowledgable friends took us to Settimo Cielo for a different pizza experience, and we weren't disappointed. Some great unusual and well-balanced choices on the menu, as well as an interesting variety of bases. Prices are slightly up on standard - our two choices came in at 11 and 12 euro each - but the quality more than justified the price. Delicious! Go out of your way to try a pizza here.

My wife and I visit Bussolengo, Italy every summer to see our friends. We had another outstanding dinning experience at the Fucina Restaurant. We really enjoy the excellent menu choices, service and atmosphere. The owners are always present and very friendly.

30 of us descended on this lovely local restaurant for dinner one evening. They catered brilliantly for such a large group, despite the restaurant being full. Varied and extensive menu on offer with kids size portions if required. Staff were on hand, friendly and helpful. Grazie mille per le belle parole arrivederci a presto grazie di nuovo

great grilled meats. great location with great views. nice bbq for the meat. cool to see the process for carving the meat when t comes off the grill too. owners very nice, and seem to pride in their quality of the meat and the grilling and carving process. we enjoyed.

Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. This is such a lovely place in the middle of nowhere, never seen anything like it.The pub is absolutely gorgeous, the staff super friendly, food is lovely and their beer is fantastic! I recommend to everyone to go to this place. We had dinner and drinks and we wanted to watch the football and the staff kindly put that on the screen. When we went to pay, their line was down, I was mortified and there was no cash machine around and to be fair we had a few drinks and we did not want to drive. The guy behind the bar simply said " Oh don't worry you can come back tomorrow ", I could not believe it, as a Londoner I did not expect to be trusted to walk away and come back to pay the next day as I was a stranger to them. LOVELY PEOPLE, LOVELY BEER AND GORGEOUS CASTLE
