Desenzano is full of touristy trap style eateries but this small, friendly and characterful trattoria bucks the trend. We had some superb fresh hand made pasta (I had tagliatelle with hare, my wife with porcini) - excellent quality and presentation - great selection of wines even though the house wine (a local gropello) itself was perfect. Really friendly and attentive service from Margherita the owner. Will return for sure next time in the area!

What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue.The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.

Lovely restaurant. The food was excellent and really nicely presented. You need to book in advance for this restaurant. It's a little on the pricey side but worth at least one visit.

We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays. Really great restaurant with good food, good prices and great service. We never normally go to the same place twice when on holiday, as we like to experience as many places as possible, but this surpassed our expectation, so we went back a second time. The team were very good, really looked after their customers and generally spoke good English which was a plus, but not a requirement.Highly recommend

Found the restaurant via Tripadvisor. 4* rating. Photo's of this restaurant looked very good. Only 10 minutes drive from Corte Ferrari Resort. Kids are welcome. Food and wines were really fantastic! Chapeau!! We will come back next year.

This place made us feel comfortable right from the moment we walked in. The setting is quite modern, with a smart design and a nonchalant atmosphere at the same time. The service was great and the food was good, but judging by the prices they're asking I believe one expects to eat much more than just ''good'' food. We ordered a tasting menu made up of 10 dishes which finally proved to be 13 servings. Here's the first problem: out of 13 dishes, the last 4 were all desserts, which was a bit too much. The prices are similar to the ones you would find in a Michelin-starred restaurant (somewhere between 1 and 2 stars) and even though everything was tasty, nothing really blew my mind, with the exception of one or maybe 2 dishes which were fantastic. It's like they want to keep it on the safe side and not stand out in any particular way with any kind of bold taste. In conclusion: cool setting, good service, great plating, average taste, high prices.P.S.: The liquid nitrogen dessert is entertaining!

We stayed at the hotel and used this restaurant on the last evening. From the moment we walked in there was none of the service you would expect from this level of dining. We were led to our table, given bread and nibbles that we were charged for but didnât request. They kept trying to take out plates away when we hadnât finished and then left them when we had. They offered a bag hook to another table but not to ours so there was no consistency. We arenât difficult by any stretch but it was constant and ended up ruining the meal and stressing us out!

We went to this restaurant twice and would have gone more but it only opens from Thursday to Sunday. The food here is outstanding I really can't praise it enough. Their king prawns, mussels, ravioli and turbot were the highlights but basically everything is good.

We had a lovely dinner and really enjoyed the romantic setting of the restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. Fine dining - every dish was beautifully presented and of excellent quality. We ordered a la carte ( although they have a nice fish menu as well) as we were keen to try the seafood platter. Very good wine choice as well. Definitly to be recommended.
