Love the freshness of Nandos and service. The restaurant is clean and serves delicious chicken all year, everyday. Love the vibe, aircon because Mahikeng is a hot place. The chicken franchise always serves a delicious chicken and range of salads to cut through spices and finish it with an exotic nandos drink....

Oh dear. The photographs on the menu look quite appetising, but unfortunately the food on the plate did not match the expectation at all. Two of us had the Mediterranean chicken kebabs. Anything drier would have been biltong. The pasta seemed ok, but boringly presented and rather bland. The waitress was friendly but I guess that others have also voted with their feet as the restaurant was really empty even though the shopping centre was buzzing.

The restaurant is intimate and quirky, and offers seating on the balcony with an incredible 180 degree view of the surrounding Magalies Mountains and the Hartbeespoort Dam. The Gin Bar offers a wide variety of local and international gins. The kitchen cre
Stopped over for a Sunday lunch. Food was very good. Ordered a rib-eye steak that was tough but the manager swapped it for the softest fillet Iâve ever had. Service is excellent. Staff were always on hand to help. Only gripe was the smoking allowed on the terrace. You can play whatever music you like from their selection of LPâs! Younger ones you can Google that to see what those were

A nice little place with outdoor and indoor seating. Simple environment with a nice garden. Our waiterss was new, and struggled a bit but the owner came and told us about his muscle pot. Which we ordered as a starter. Absolutely excellent!!! We asked for extra bread to soak up the eleft over juices. YummyThe cheese fondue comes with veggies OR bread, be sure to specify which one you want.I had the greatest beer. Dark stout. The eisbine was fabulous. Cooked to perfection.Highly recommended this little jem.

Palace of the lost City's fine dining 40 seater restaurant serving a fusion of African and French cuisine. The perfect setting for any special occassion.
Plume offered a 6 course pairing menu. Each of the six courses were paired with a specific South African wine. The chef personally explained the courses and the hostess described the wines. Both were excellent and their presentations professional. The food was very good, ticking all the boxes. In addition to the wines a whisky manufacturer also paired some of their whiskies with the main courses and that was a very unique and interesting experience. The singer was way above average and added significantly to the great atmosphere in the restaurant. Expensive but well worth it and highly recommended.

A group of us went to Brauhaus am Damm for a craft beer tasting and lunch. The building is stunning with a great view over a dam. The restaurant has seating inside with big glass doors leading onto a partially covered patio, where the view is spectacular.Due to the heat, we decided to sit inside where it was a bit cooler. We did a tasting of their craft beers, which are all excellent.Sitting down to lunch, the menu has everything you need, and is very reasonably priced. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad, which is one of the best I have ever had, and it was very well priced.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their lunch, with not one complaint from anyone.I would highly recommend Brauhaus am Damm for a "get out of Johannesburg" lunch.

We found the restaurant via tripadvisor. The setting was beautiful and there were lots of interesting spots for photographs. It was a chilly morning and the restaurant had little blankets to warm your legs when sitting outside. The food was very tasty. a Visit is higly recommended.

We ate at this restaurant a couple of nights ago. Our waiter was knowledgeable and v friendly. We ordered a seafood platter and Greek salad, both were extremely tasty and can honestly say the best meal we have had in ages. Will definitely return here next time we are in South Africa.

Dine under the crystal chandelier in the Palace of the Lost City's flagship restaurant. Breakfast, Traditional Afternoon Tea and Dinner served daily. Friday and Saturdays family buffet served from the terrace lakes.
The Crystal Court is the breakfast venue for The Palace hotel guests and visitors. It is a magical and fantastical room. The service is excellent and very friendly. Breakfast ranges from fresh oysters and champagne to sushi, breakfasts on order or whatever your heart desires. Delicious. The pianist plays the most beautiful music which adds to the magnificent ambience of the dining area.
