I love the experience when you're not given a menu and just told what is special on the day. The waiter, chef, owner William will take you through a wide variety of delicious selections including olives from his mother's garden and then regale you with local tales and even a personal experience with subprime in Florida. If you expect typical Italian food in this British managed restaurant, it might not be what you get after the brilliant Focaccia nobody should miss.The Italian based food interpreted with international ingredients cooked with great skills is exceptional. I had one evening as main dish lamb knuckles cooked more than 5 hours - a dream. We have had 4 dinners and all of them were stunning.Madelineâs wine knowledge and selection as well is a dream.Combined with the fantastic staff and owners ... go there and try yourself.Tim and Madeline thank you very much for your effort.

People who don't know this region are always astounded by its rugged beauty and rural charm; even more astonishing is to find a world-class restaurant down a "white road" in deepest rural Marche, but that is exactly what Bibioteca is: world-class. The food is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate and whether you eat al fresco or in the intimate diningroom your food will all have been grown within meters of where you sit. The menu, which is published on line changes weekly according to what is ready to harvest and consists of five perfectly-sized courses that leave you feeling satisfied without being over-full. The wine list, all organic, is small but carefully chosen and includes our favorite, Dante, a red wine produced by Cantina dei Monti from Gallioppo grapes specific to this region.

Ideally, we would live in Ortezzano, so that we could eat here every day.The views are quite simply stunning. The food utterly delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pasta with guanciale, chilli and tomatoes. The pork was mouthwateringly-scrumptious. And the melted chocolate pudding with homemade, delicate mint ice cream was second-to-none.Whilst very friendly, the staff are highly professional, making this an unforgettable supper to be repeated as often as possible.

We just had a meal which epitomises everything which is perfect about Italian food: Delicious ingredients, perfectly cooked, fantastic wine and charmimg service.The steak was cooked absolotely perfectly and liberally anointed with fresh shaved truffle, the wine was orgasmic. the tirà misu was homemade, light as a cloud and we floated home on a wave of bliss. Back soon.Fantastic value- in London you would pay more than the total bill just for the wine!

We return here at least each year on our visit to the area with friends and never disappointed! They have upgraded the menu and fittings and this just enhances the experience. A chic, charming setting on a side-street of one of Marche's loveliest small-towns. The menu is simple and limited, but the meat and cheese selection is always excellent, the wine list is a nice mix of local and other Italian wines, and the service is wonderfully friendly. The homemade tiramisu is a winner as well. This is what you hoped your dinner in Italy would be-- quiet, romantic, and delicious.

A beautiful restaurant where you can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the Sibilline mountains. Wonderful service and really friendly and helpful staff. They put on several special vegetarian dishes for us - which were delicious. The cooking is superb and the price is incredibly reasonable for such a stylish restaurant. The wine - most of it locally produced - was also very special.We cannot recommend it too highly - we went there eight times in a month - recommendation indeed!
