Another visit to Avvia and as per usual the atmosphere, staff service and food was amazing. Not often do you find consistency of this kind I'm restaurants. Perhaps it's because they pride themselves on ensuring a dining "experience" above all else. Started with prawn dumplings, then we shared the lamb and prawn gnocchi. Finished with chocolate souffle. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful bottle of Syrah. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and give Avvia a visit.Meagan, thanks for leaving such a wonderful review. We stopped in for the 2 for 1 pizzas between 4-6pm daily, the pizzas were delish, the happy hour merlot so tasty, the service prompt plus we had lovely acoustic entertainment. Right in the heart of Broadbeach on a Saturday night. Highly recommend!

We have been here several times in the last 2 months and love the food and service. The crab toast as a starter on the bar snack menu is a must and there are nice variety of mains that have all been a very high standard. The service staff (Pete) are very friendly and knowledgeable and the 3 course lunch menu on Friday and Saturday lunch for $50 is great value.

My wife and I love French cuisine and here we have a very interesting combination of French and Japanese which work well together.Itâs a small restaurant and for a welcome change, very quiet. A rare find that you can have a conversation without shouting, or hearing people across the room. Admittedly we visited mid-week and it was not very full, but a wonderful ambiance indeed.A very interesting menu that offers al a carte, a two-course set menu, or a three-course set menu. We chose the three-course set menu and were not disappointed.The food was simply delicious and beautifully presented. The service was efficient but a little slow between courses, but I suspect the chef was a perfectionist which does take a little more time.When I booked on-line it asked if it was a special occasion and I mentioned it was my wifeâs birthday. When the deserts arrived, there were sparklers on my wifeâs dish, which thrilled her somewhat. A lovely touch.When we had finished eating the owner/chef introduced himself which gave us the opportunity to thank him. My husband and I chose the Chef Specialist menu and it was absolutely incredible. All dishes were amazing flavors and perfect balance. Our favorite was the burrata with chorizo sauce. Wow! Flavor burst! Great friendly service, extremely knowledgeable about the food and wines. I really enjoyed a selection of cocktails from their ginventory which our waiter recommended and chose each option for me. Highly recommend!

Staying at the GC because my passport had expired and could not get on plane to Bali anyways delightful holiday still. Uber driver suggested this place and it did not disappoint. On arrival lovely waitress bought us cold water and then ordered a bottle of red. Entree of shared salad and focaccia then after a nice time between a meal the mains. One was fettuccine carbonara and the other was tomato gnocchi. Both were absolutely delicious. Really nice place for dinner. Great wine list great service. Would highly recommend

I was staying in an apartment at Mermaid beach. Because of my late arrival, and jet lag, I couldn't sleep. Got up very early to walk on the beach and watch the sun come up, then wandered around looking for some breakfast. Found this place. It wasn't due to open for another 45 minutes, but the menu looked good, so I sat at one of their outdoor tables, reading my book until teh staff started to arrive. I explained that I was waiting for breakfast, and as soon as they were open, one of the waiting staff came over, to ask me which table I would like, and was very solicitous in making sure that I had everything that I needed.They made me an excellent omelette, and some very good sourdough toast, and a big pot of tea. It was all delicious. I returned another morning, and had a slightly customised version of their eggs benedict. On both occasions the staff could not have been better, the food was very good indeed, and if I'm ever back over there, I shall have breakfast there again. Highly recommended. (They do take-out and fresh baked goods too).

Thanks to everyone at Willow for a lovely evening. A birthday dinner for my man was made all the more special with the effort put in. I made no special requests, but did make the birthday mentioned when booking. Upon arrival a table was reserved with a happy birthday sign, and a handwritten card.... such a special touch. Dinner was amazing, and was perfectly timed between plates of tapas.... no rush, but served when we were ready. Everything was fantastic in flavour, prepared with care and served beautifully. Attentive staff ensured a smooth evening. No birthday dinner is complete without dessert, and when it arrived, the birthday continued. Thanks to everyone front of house and hard at work in the kitchen for a truly memorable night, it was so enjoyed and appreciated. Hello Guys,Thank you for taking your time to put a review for us. We had been recommended this as a quality dining location on the Gold Coast.Unfortunately the food, service and experience did not justify the visit.The food was very average (even though we both love truffles) and the choice and capacity to deal with a gluten allergy were woeful. The service timing and table set up made the visit a disaster.
