Being a fifteen group, we figured it was convenient to warn the management at least a few hours in advance that we wanted to dine at this restaurant (which was convenient because it was the closest to our hotel). We were accepted, but it wasn't possible to create a single table, so our group has been divided into several tables.I can mainly talk about what was tasted at my table (we were four). We ordered 4 soups of the day (carrot soups) 3 grilled squid dishes, 1 dish of octopus salad. As a drink, a good bottle of "Curral Atlantis Branco" wine, beer, water.Everything was tasty, and cost 79 euros (as I said, for four), so more or less in line with the rates of other restaurants we experienced in Madalena.My judgment should therefore be very positive. But my wife, sitting at another table, received a "bacalhau" dish, partially burnt. So, with my regret, I have to lower my judgment.

We really struggled to find a restaurant next to the sea on a road journey along the south coast of Madeira on our way back to Funchal, until we happened upon Casa de Pedro.There were fabulous views over the sea from the outside terrace and we had a great lunch in beautiful sunshine.The staff were friendly and spoke some English. A good range of food with large servings. I had the fried squid which was excellent and very moderately priced.Would definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed the pastries and coffee from this popular bakery. Also, the delicious treats aside, a very kind young woman, working on Saturday morning, as well as a Sunday afternoon, just made us feel comfortable with her kindness. See photo of treats. Well worth a visit!

We went there on a Tuesday evening and I believe we were the only one that night. Driving up to the restaurant can be quite tricky as it's so steep that you can scratch the driveway with your car. The restaurant opened in April 2017 and looks very new. My guess is that a couple is the running the place with the two of them. We hsf the sausages and clams for starters. The sausages were very dry and overcooked and the clams were just initially frozen solid inside. After we send the clams back they were way better. We shared a had two person fish as a main, which was very good. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place as it was missing some big details here and there.

We visited this restaurant on a rainy day in early August with friends who have a cottage in Pico. There were five of us & we all tried the dish of the day (6 Euros).. very tasty, very large portions. One of us had room for dessert. With wine & water the bill came to 47 Euros.I am posting the comprehensive menu - the service was extra friendly & if we should be lucky enough to find ourselves in Pico again, we would definitely come back. One of the few places you can enjoy Molotov, a traditional Portuguese desert that just melts in your mouth and never makes you feel stuffed. Service is quite good. Great spot for an espresso or a galau. The meals here are also quite good, less expensive than restaurants with very reasonable portions. The octopus was excellent, quite tender, with a slightly spicy sauce. It is sometimes difficult in the off season to find a meal when you want one, especially on Sundays. I found myself gravitating to this place more and more.Highly recommended.All team Pastelaria Linu appreciates your visit and the evaluation.Best regards

Excellent place to relax and enjoy a good food as well as a great service. Seafood! Fish! And their staff is knowledgeable to recommend something really outstanding. they know wines and will help to choose a combination. Alexander, the waiter, was great with his attitude and hospitality.The place is not cheap, but it's worth the price.

It took about ten minutes to be acknowledged.We then asked for a table and were told there was none available, and that it wasnât possible to know when one might become free - the waitress then just left with no apology or anything else... bad attitude, we also left with no intention to ever come back...

This was my favourite restaurant from our stay in Pico. The restaurant is away from the town but only a short walk away. The views from the restaurant is beautiful, we were there during sunset and Pico went pink! Beautiful!Food was great. We shared starters, shrimp cocktail, cheese & bread. All delicious. Favourite was the cheese. I had the lasange - it wasn't overly flavoured it was just right! Desserts also nice too! We had both had before dinner cocktail, I had an aperol and my husband had camparri. We also had a lovely bottle of red and lemonchello shots to finish!Waitress was brilliant, friendly, kind & helpful! If I had stayed in Pico longer I would have returned.

Went for dinner. Chose the Azorean meat platter starter which was amazing and huge portions. However we took longer than they expected so our fish was slightly over cooked. That said everything was very tasty and weâd definitely go back! Good friendly service
