Was staying nearby and this family-run restaurant was recommended by our airbnb host. We sat outside to enjoy the incredible views. It's now been weeks since I was there but I do remember that the calamari was the highlight. The squid was fresh and lightly fried, not greasy. The rest was pretty good and reasonably priced.

After the new year eveâs party we enjoyed a fantastic brunch buffet @ the imperialino! Great fresh food and nice and helpful waiters! It's worthwhile to travel here! After a lot of prosecco we walked through the village to digest - very nice! Will come back for sure!

Don't walk by this one - location from the road doesn't look all that much but they have a balcony that looks out onto the lake so the view is very pretty.The pasta though was amazing. Lovely choices and presented so prettily with fresh bread.We only popped in for a lunch on our way home but it seemed to get busy with locals and the food that was coming out looked stunning - including the puddings.

Dinner for 4 turned out to be a nice evening. Seating is very nice along the water - service is friendly and prompt. Starters and main courses look appetising and turned out to be good. Wines are priced correctly. The risotto was very good. The local fish fritata was less impressive. The tuna main course was excellent. Unfortunately, 2 of us who had the very tasty beef tartare as starter, got sick so we suspect that the raw meat was perhaps not in order.

This restaurant is centrally located in Carate Urio - a perfect stroll away from our holiday apartment. We visited twice and enjoyed the friendly welcome and atmosphere. We enjoyed pasta dishes and the veal - all cooked and presented very well. And, the highly recommended tiramisu was magnifico! Giuseppe and staff were very welcoming and it was fairly good value for money. The restaurant was quite busy on both evenings with a good atmosphere. Well worth a visit if staying in Carate Urio.

After researching TA, I wanted to book a reservation here immediately since we were going on a Saturday night. I called the restaurant about three weeks before our travels and ended up communicating with chef Paolo through What's App. Paolo said the place was about 25 minutes from our hotel in Lezzeno. I didn't think that was a big deal until we arrived and the hotel said a taxi would be 90 euros ONE WAY to get there because it was winding roads and straight up hill. (Lesson learned, renting a car in Lake Como is probably a good idea). So I communicated with Paolo that it didn't make sense to pay 180 euros for transportation. He then quoted us a much lower price for both ways, and then sent Marina (his mom? not sure) to come get us. Now THAT is service! We had one of the best meals of our entire trip. Plus, the view!!! He split the Beef Carpaccio into two generous portions, same with the Pea and Mint Gnocchi. Both were fabulous. Then are main dishes were some of the most tender meat we have ever had; the Suckling Pig, and the Beef with Polenta. It was a nice change from all the fish we had been eating. The service was attentive and friendly (Paolo's girlfriend) and we got to visit with the family at the end. What and exquisite experience we had all around. A smart stylish white linen restaurant located on the lakeside road offering a excellent menu.The restaurant appears to attract the locals which is good for their endorsement and is ideal for a dressy evening meal which comes at a price. The attentiveness of the service can vary depending upon the time of evening and customer numbers.The choice of restaurants is not expansive in Laglio so still worth a visit.

Millesimo Enoteca is a very beautiful bar located in Via Reggina, in the lakeside of Lago di Como, in the North of Italia. It iss very well-decorated. Really it is a place to relax on the terrace, drink one or two glasses of wine, see the beautiful views of the lake and talk about something with friends. We came here and drank a wine of the region (from Sondrio, 100kn far away) and some cheaps. Pitifully, they only has one red wine and one white wine by glasses from here. Also, we areived here when it was rainning a lot, so we can not relax a lot. Probably, the next time!
