Kongsberg is the administration center in Kongsberg municipality. The city is located on the river Numedalslågen at the entrance to the valley of Numedal. The municipality of Kongsberg was established on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The rural municipalities of Ytre Sandsvær and Øvre Sandsvær were merged into the municipality of Kongsberg on 1 January 1964.

I have been here several times, as private, company dinner or events. He never stops supprising. This owner really can cook a very good dishes from his little kitchen. In addition, he provides very good service and takes good care of his customers. The place is highly recommended, for example after a round of golf, or with family or a Sunday dinner. Take a trip! Guaranteed you will like the place

By chance we had the buffet which was a good selection of hot and cold food, deserts etc. As soon as your plate was empty, it was taken away, with your knife and fork left to encourage you to go for seconds.

With all due respect to the people that believe this is good food, you should never have tried proper chinese food.The food was tasteless, without any spirit at all, completely disappointing.The service was not better. We asked several questions and couldn't get straight answer. Clearly they were not trying to care for a second. The only reason I come up with for this place to have people, it is because it is cheap for the norwegian standard. It is impossible to be for another reason.Try at your own risk, but I would suggest to go somewhere else.

Traditional beer house with local snacks. Beers feom all over the world, and some winws also. Rather quick service. The most traditional restaurant in Kongsberg.

The restaurant has recently been fully renovated and the workmanship was professional. It also has a nice garden for eating outdoors. The service was superb and the quality of the food very good. The majority of the menu is pizza, which was excellent, but appetisers and non-pizza main course was delicious

Sat outside in the sun during Jazz Week, listening to the Royal Garden Jazz band.Excellent Frydenlund beer and one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.It can get a bit crowded, but then I would not expect anything else with food and drink like that.

Nice location, nice interiors, great service. Great selection of beers. My husband had a burger, he was not impressed. I had high hopes for my veggie burger, it did not fulfill my expectations. A bland, boring vegetable mash in burger buns. No guacamole, though stated in the menu. Might have complained but didnât bother. Maybe the chef had a bad day? Or maybe a stand in?

Father and daughter are running this small, but high-quality restaurant. The starter (duck liver) was lovely and the cod for the main was excellent. The service was really personal and eprfect. An absolute top restaurant to recommend if you are in Stord.
