We enjoyed a very delicious brunch here this morning, from a small but interesting menu. The lunch & dinner menus also looked very interesting and I hope to get back here to explore the food offering further.Service was excellent, from the moment we entered until we left. My coffee was a step above the norm too.Well priced and a fascinating space, well worth the visit.

We had a lovely afternoon at Northern Git when a family member held an after christening gathering at the venue. The family had the venue exclusively. The space was enough to hold over 70 people some sitting some standing with room to move around and a display table for the presents and cakes. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was plentiful, tasty and a good variety of finger food that came out in rounds.Chicken satay sticksCroquettes Falafel wraps Duck pancakesGnocchiFish and chipsKataifi wrapped prawnsGreat venue for small to medium celebrationsThey also offer off site catering as

La Luna Bistro

We’ve been a fans of Adrian Richardson from way back. So it’s only logical that we were keen to taste his food for long time. The only reason being that La Luna is a rather pricey restaurant. However, our wish came true when recently we visited with family for a special occasion. All we can say is that it turned out to be a great experience and surpassed all expectations. Fantastic food and service. My reaction when I faced my 330g medium/rare Porterhouse was, OMG, I’ll never be able to eat all that...surprise, surprise, once I took a bite, just couldn’t stop...it was to die for! And so it goes for everyone around the table. And then, it was dessert time... the taster plate was definitely a blast with other family members. My Affogato topped with a gorgeous French pear liqueur was just Devine. Expensive? Yes! But who’s complaining? Many thanks Adrian and staff for an unforgettable night. Keep up the good work! Thanks Lovely it was our pleasure

Back to the Hub again this morning. Enjoyed my big breakfast very much, especially the Cypriot sausage the name of which momentarily escapes me. My coffee was lovely too. Service was warm and friendly. The Hub is recommended.Four months earlierThis cafe/bistro used to be known as Over the Road until a major renovation a number of months ago. The space has undergone substantial change and some lovely modifications have been made. It's more modern, orderly and coherent. The gifts that used to be dotted around the place are gone and it's more spacious now and warmer. Today we ordered the egg and bacon focaccia with chili jam. It was very nice and made for a hearty lunch. We finished it off with coffees and a scientifically halved salted caramel cookie. The cookie belongs with the foods served to the angels in heaven. I felt significant psychological pain finishing my half. My coffee was ok but not one I'd include in a hall of fame. It's a nice place and some of the other dishes looked fantastic.
