We decided to try something different from German beer house and steaks, and found this restaurant with good reviews. It turns out to be actually quite good. The entrance is already unique with the blue bottle displays next to the bar. The menu has a good selection of salad, meats, and desserts. The main course comes with a free choice of salad bar. We had the platters for two which had the lamb chops, beef slices, beef patty, skewers of chicken and pork chops. The wine selection is also good. The highlight was the live music. Just a note that the male toilet was almost like a disco with the lights and music. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience and a hidden gem in Hannover.

Die Familientradition führt uns immer wieder einmal ins Gasthaus Dehne. Getreu dem Motto " was gestern gut war, kann heute nicht schlecht sein ". Leider kann ich das nicht bestätigen. Immer Sonntags gibt es Auswahl von ca. 6-7 Menüs, bestehend aus Suppe, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch. Dies sollte der Küche die Möglichkeit bieten sich optimal auf die zahlenden Gäste einzustellen. Festtagssuppe war ok, dann die Hauptspeisen ( Jägerschnitzel, Schollenfilet, Kalbsleber, Schweinemedallions, Putenschnitzel und gemischter Grillteller. ) Wie man liest alles deftige Gerichte und keine Salate, Steaks oder sonstige Alternativen aber gut wir haben es ja vorher gewusst. Wir bestellen Jägerschnitzel, klein und ganz schlecht mit Kroketten und Champignons und einer InstantsoÃe. Schollenfilet zum gruseln, Geschmacksneutral und dann die Leber. Etwas zu durch und mit Pfifferlingen und handwarmem Kartoffelstampf. Jetzt zu den Preisen: Jäger = 17,- , Leber = 22,- und die Scholle = 26,-!!!!!Der Nachtisch bestand aus einer Mousse, kann mir nicht vorstellen dass die selbst gemacht war, mit Schokotaler, wie vor 30 Jahren. Service ganz ok aber schlecht vorbereitet da wir drauÃen aÃen und bei Temperaturen um die 30 Grad noch keine Schirme aufgestellt waren, an keinem Tisch. Wer also Nostalgie mag muss zudem " drinnen " essen da paÃt das Ambiente auch zum Essen. Sorry aber das war nix. Dennoch werden wir wohl wieder kommen, denn Tradition verpflichtet.

I have been there for a business dinner; location is fascinating, being an old stable finely restored. Maybe a little bit noisyService is careful and reasonably quick, considering the number of guests.A careful kitchen and chef are elaborating nice dishes, extremely well presented. Dined here with a very large group. Service was exceptional. Lovely ambience inside.Menu was extensive with many tempting dishes.Food was excellent. I had lamb chops which was superb. Great wine selection.The friendly service with a smile topped off a lovely dining experience.

We had a really good Schnitzel and Weissbier here and they are very reasonably priced. The kitchen is open until late, so if you are arriving in Hannover late at night it is a very good place to stop.

We booked into Roy's for their set-menu NYE event, which was a reasonable price and a good choice of courses. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and the service was exemplary. Really enjoyed the food and a lovely laid-back atmosphere. Would have no hesitation in recommending for a future visit

The main reason I chose to eat in this restaurant was, there was neither a restaurant nor a bar in Hotel Will which, stands about 15 metres across from this Spanish restaurant.The waiter was extremely friendly and he served quickly, though I did have to ask for my bill twice, and wait 15 minutes, before I was finally given it to pay!The beer I drank was lovely, and considering the evening was quite warm, the liquid âwent down a treatâ! The food I ordered was very tasty. Tune fish and a large, typical Mediterranean salad. The prices were fair and I enjoyed my evening away from the Hotel Will â very much in fact! The only negative side to this Spanish restaurant, if you eat outside that is, the noisy and consistent flow of traffic passing in front of this building. I spoke with my wife on my mobile during the evening and although the sun was just about to set, the traffic noise continued. The telephone conversation was therefore interrupted, due to the loudness and nearness of the traffic.I would still like to visit this Spanish restaurant again however.

We went there during the fair - call for a reservation! The atmosphere is lovely, with a lot of charm. The waiters were nice and funny. We ordered pasta and risotto and it was very tasty. Especially the pasta with parmesano, where they offer you a whole spectacle preparing them. I recommend this restaurant to every italian food lover.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great food experience as they regularly change their menu and come up with interesting combinations that taste brilliant. If you have special requests the kitchen will always try to accomodate them. The owner knows his stuff when it comes to food and wine and is always ready to recommend dishes according to your taste. The atmosphere is cosy and although this restaurant has a reputation for being frequented by "upper-end society folk" you never feels out of place. You can attend dressed up to the hilt or in jeans if you desire. You are always most heartily welcomed. It is an expensive place to eat but well worth it. The portions are perfect. At first you may think not think so but I have always come away feeling satisfied. This place is excellent for business lunches as well. Especially for treating guests outwith Hannover. It will leave a lasting impression.
