Recomendable restaurant 100%!! I recomend everybody who can go there to visit the restaurant! The food can not be better. Maximal quality in everything what the cook! The service is the best! Profesional and human service that makes you feel like at home. Go to the alpendre del arte to live a wonderfull experience!

These people really care about food! Worth travelling for, and exceptionally good value we had main courses and shared a starter and dessert (to die for!), + a couple of drinks all for less than â¬40, excellent service and advice from eager to please staff.

Again staying overnight in Vecindario we entrusted ourselves to Iulian and his staff for sustinence and they came up trumps. My wife, not being hungry, had a starter of prawns and garlic. There was plenty and I sampled the dish which was perfect. I had the Dorado served with Veg as I generally eat fish in Spain and Iulian was lucky to get the bones back. topped off with a couple of beers and a bottle of water an enjoyable evening was had. Family run Italian Trattorias can be hard to found, but this little gem in Vecindario is well worth discovering. Just minutes of the main GC1 South of Las Palmas Airport, it's a truly Mother and son affair with delicious hand made dishes thoughout the menu. In this intimate little place we not only enjoyed great food, but the chance to chat about what makes Italian food so great with the owners. Both the pizza and pasta dishes we ate were freshly made and first class, while the hand made Cannoli and slightly less traditional Brownie were equally fantastic.Although relatively quiet at this time of year - especially on a Monday night, it's clearly a place that's busy most days and popular with locals and holiday makers alike. If you love Italian food, you'll love Costa Italia as much as we did.

We wanted a bite to eat before heading to the airport and found this little place practically on top of the airport. Outside it doesnât look much but inside itâs all linen table cloths and wine glasses, we were pleasantly surprised. Really friendly helpful staff, I ordered gazpacho and forgot to mention not to put the ham on top, when the owner saw me scooping the ham off he immediately insisted on getting me another one. Great food, gazpacho was full of flavour, followed by mushroom omelette cooked to perfection with lovely presentation. Meat here is great too, and displayed with pride in a cabinet at the front, as is the fish. There was amazing looking tuna displayed when we were here but unfortunately we didnât notice it until after we had ordered. This is a great little find, much better than a dry sandwich at the airport, we would definitely eat here again, much classier place than it looks from the outside, delicious food, wonderful staff and fantastic value.

We came here after being recommended by a friend, itâs a nice drive sometimes scary as you climb up the mountain but itâs worth it. The views from outside are incredible and the restaurant itself was amazing, to sit down inside the cave with the seats that are part of the cave and the table is made from the rock in the cave. The food was beautiful and fresh, prices are reasonable for what you get which is plenty of food. The staff are polite and happy to help. All in all itâs definitely a experience to try, thereâs a souvenir shop down the road with beautiful gifts. If you want to have a experience to remember you have to come here

Second time renting a villa in this area. Bar El Populacho is the closest holiday type bar to be found without driving to Maspalomas. Only closed on Fridays this is the only place to sit, have a couple of drinks and watch the world go by. Cocktails are really good and tapas was excellent. If your on holiday in the area you have to visit here.

We had dinner here on our last night in Gran Canaria and had a great meal here. Itâs run by a couple, the chef is Italian and pretty much everything on the menu is homemade including some of the pastas. All our food was cooked to perfection with big portions, I would definitely eat here again anytime I am down this way, staff are lovely and friendly and the food is above average Italian and really delicious.

The Canarian chamber of commerce recommended this restaurant as a place with traditional Canarian food. And in fact, it is a really traditional place. When getting in you arrive at a little bar and it doesnt look like a restaurant. But when asking for food we were taken to a room behind which was full with Canarian people, most families having lunch. We were the only tourists. I loved this atmosphere of loud speaking Spanish people, tables without table cloth etc. Really sincere atmosphere. Only one of the staff could speak English but everything worked out fine.The food was kind of cheap, simple but traditional (I assume) and just good.Worth a visit. When you enter they tell you to feel at home. After 5 minutes you truly feel as if you are. Except with food that is truly amazing and better than you can ever dream of cooking up yourself! The service is lovely and the food even better! This is our second visit and we will be sure to come back in the next few days! A true Canarian experience, be sure to try it!
