Excellent food and wine throughout. We've dined here over many years and never been dissatisfied with anything they offer. Their steaks are always very good, as are the pasta meals we've had.Very good attentive service, superb complimentary olives and lovely bread.

Love this place and went for our wedding anniversary back there again, been meaning to write a review but haven't.Highly recommend as food always good and the specials. The service is good, attentive without being overbearing. Most of all good food, good wines selection and great whether going out to celebrate or with friends.

Our special occasion destination in Richmond, La Buvette closed in August; for my birthday we looked to St Margarets' & discovered the Le Salon Prive.We enjoyed a great evening, with French ambiance, excellent service and well presented food.The menu is extensive and good value.Thank you very much for your kind review. Really good quality 'turn up and dine' airport hotel restaurant. Excellent, friendly and prompt service with well prepared and presented quality food. Very good, tempting menu, ensuring something for everyone. This was an unexpected pleasant surprise, which totally befitted the quality you'd expect to be associated with this Sofitel.We'll definitely be back.

An evening of synchronicity! Watching Robert Lindsey with Lyndsay and then finding Chez Lindsay less than ten minutes walk from the theatre! How could this fail to be a magical evening? The front of the restaurant was empty (Monday night) and there was only one party of four at the back. We were greeted as if into Lindsays own home and offered any table in the house. Service was excellent with no hint that we should hurry despite the clock nearing midnight before we left.We chose the "Menu Prix Fixe" though substituting French Onion Soup for the soup of the day. My moules as starter would have been a main course in many establishments! The Confit de Canard is to be recommended (with a glass of St Emilion) Then crepe au citron and a cheese platter. Lindsay even found a half bottle of Sauternes (and the cork) to go with the Roquefort , Bliss.

As an Italian living in London, I have never, and stress never found a restaurant which would serve freshly cooked pasta rather than the floppy, mushy, sad looking spaghetti which have been precooked. This might sound as a detail, but friends, precooked pasta is the death of Italian civilisation as we know it. Masaniello is the outstanding exception to the norm, their pasta is al dente, the choice is varied from antipasto to dessert and every single dish is as you would expect to eat in Italy. No silly compromise to blend into the uniformity of mainstream restaurateur malarkey , pure, unadulterated Italian. We love it and we feel very lucky to have a place locally which happens to be one of the best , most authentic restaurants in the capital. Continuate così, ragazzi!

The area around heathrow isnât pretty, but every turd has a silver lining; even filthy heathrow. If youâre interested in plain, honest excellent food, Moniz is the place for you. Of particular note is the quality of the produce served here. It is nothing short of spectacular. Chosen with love and devotion by a Portuguese family who actually care about what they put before you on the table. A fine selection of reasonably priced Portuguese wines and deserts that would, I promise you, tempt the devil himself. Absolutely spectacular. Iâve eaten here many times over the years, thanks be to God. Highly recommended in every imaginable way. Worth the trip from central London. Outstanding. Obrigado Moniz!

My boyfriend and I were in the area after visiting Hampton Court and found this small italian restaurant. We were very pleased with our choice as the food was really good and the staff very polite. Pizza was lovely and crispy and there are quite a few interesting choices on the menu beyond the classic Margherita. The Gorgonzola e Noci and Dolce Vita pizza were both very tasty and light. The Sicilian panzerotti we had for dessert were delicious and not something you find in many Italian restaurants menus. A surprising comment, you might think, but many Italian restaurants in Britain, even including some of those actually run by Italians, donât really make the effort to go beyond a superficial rendering of standard dishes.
