We drove to Erice a medieval town, fascinating. Lunched at this wonderful hotel.Two of us chose pasta with mushrooms, another pasta with eggplant and pasta with artichokes. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Food tasted freshly prepared , service was excellent, waiters very attentive and the Daily specials included wine. Glad we stopped.

Even though we were participants at one of the Schools at the Ettore Majorana Centre, the service here was quite good compared to some other places. The staff spoke some English and this is the only restaurant on the School list that serves pizza! Service was a bit slow and the food was average. We went here for lunch and got fresh fruit for dessert.Beverages were reasonably priced.

This place is right at the gate to the old hill-top town of Erice. We came here after a long morning sightseeing. Given the 'tourist trap' location we feared the worse. We need not have feared ... it is a genuinely good restaurant.The outside patio is very public, but well sheltered, well segregated from the street and not crowded.The service was good and attentive and the food very good. What also impressed us was that they serve a full lunch, but were just as happy to serve quick snacks for lunch without making us feel out of place and without compromising the full service.A very pleasant surprise.

We and our friends had dinner at this lovely, out-of-the-way little restaurant two nights in a row while staying nearby in Dattilo (not too far from Trapani and Eric). The food was delicious, inventive, and beautifully presented, the ambiance was lovely and calm, and the service was gracious. Our waitress was sweet, helpful (including good wine recommendations), and spoke excellent English. The second night we arrived just as they were about to close the place due to lack of business (we didn't call ahead), but they kept the restaurant open just for the four of us and welcomed us almost as old friends. The prices for both food and wine were very reasonable given the quality of and overall experience.
