I am visiting ny sister in Holland having come from Australia myself and on our first night were taken to her favourite restaurant...You have to try their ribs being the given advice. It was an amazing place to see with all sorts of knickknacks and wooden carvings and beams. The atmosphere very warm and inviting and staff a very jolly bunch..As advised we went for the ribs and we werent disappointed....a huge rack with a very tasty sauce and it just came of the bone with ease.also it came with a choice of frys or potatoes and salad...and an interesting apple in yoghurt concoction...very tasty...In all it was an excellent beginning to what is going to be a grand tour of Europe for my partner in crime Wendy and I..Hartelijk dank voor jullie positieve beoordeling.

I had the MOST amazing dinner tonight... Maybe... By far.. The best fine dining experience I have ever had! ... I had opted for "chef's special" - 5 course menu.. And it was ... Just ... Too amazing!! Each dish had a minimum of 10 elements to it... And the flavors- the texture- the harmony, everything was exceptional!!!Executive Chef Maurice Kersten draws on classic cuisine with perfectly integrated and well-dosed international accents. An amazing blend of French- African cuisine.. Bliss.. To add on.. We had lunch here too, and it was wonderful! The staff is amazing and they went out of their way to make room for us! During dinner my baby was being loud.. And I felt it would be unfair to other customers.. But the staff was so sweet and offered for us to dine in at bar.. They were so attentive and made sure that all our needs were met with, including making an exceptionally delicious vegetarian pesto pasta for my husband on request! I must confess... By far one of the best food and service we have experienced in Netherlands!

Food was amazing, delicious and extremely well cookedhowever, dining experience is not JUST about the foodStaff were more concerned about chatting in the corner that with the guests, example:- after 20 min brought the wrong soup- fork fell on the ground, no where to see staff to request another one. Gestures, calling and still nothing, staff just talking in the corner - had to get up to get one myself- Want another drink? Forget it, staff is too busy chatting- Want a coffee, sugar... Forget it, staff is too busy chating Could be perfect, but staff was just sub-par and suddenly you are not having a relaxed meal, you are just focusing on getting staff attention anytime you need something,

The restaurant was packed on Saturday evening in August. The food is very good, and reasonably priced, we had 4 courses and wine for EUR 50,= per person. I have to applaud the waiters/waitresses; not all in our group were too polite ( I am somewhat ashamed to admit) and they dealt with it graciously. The fact that they do not write down the order and still remember exactly what you had, feels like genuine interest in the guest. Very welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who likes high quality food, and who can appreciate real hospitality.

Supposed to be one of the oldest pubs in The Netherlands the build has tall ceilings, dark wood and a big fire which was good for the cold weather. Stopped in for a beer to see the place and enjoyed the atmosphere, would like to come back another time to try the food.

We had diner here with family 4 persons. It is an easygoing retaurant. We only had a main course which was very good. Like Hamburgers and stakes. Personel is very friendly. Prices are affordable. Our white wine from Germany was very good.

Had business dinner here and again we were not disappointed. Don't expect cheap prices, but you get what you are paying for, good quality food, well presented, excellent taste and good service.sit at the fire place for appetizers prior to getting seated for dinner.Meat quality was excellent and since I ordered 3 way dinner the costs were reasonable.Wine selection was good, don't hesitate to ask for specials.Cant go wrong bringing your guests here....

Cozy and homely genietcafé. Large play area for small children with durable wooden toys. Separate lounge with library for seeking peace. Large terrace for our monument. Exhibition and art. Homely interior and fully organic cuisine. Within 60 seats, 48 out
Location is superb in a quiet garden courtyard. Good weather that day certainly helped but I can see how I can enjoy the place even on a gloomy day. My friend and I both had the croquette on bread, which was very nice. The selection was not huge but adequate. Service was good. We felt welcomed and our orders were taken promptly with patience to explain the Dutch menu, and the food was served without too much of a wait. I can see myself coming back here again.Beste Vortexz,Hartelijk dank voor uw feedback. Leuk om te lezen en graag tot ziens!
