we were strolling from the Defence to the new Vuillton museum, stopping here for lunch. luckily we had a booking, as it got full very fast. there is a plate of the day for 18⬠and a lunch for 29.50⬠p.p, including first dish/main dish or main dish/dessert. we went for this option, sharing one first dish (burrata), two mains (duck breast in a tasty sauce), and one sweets (Profiteroles). However, on the bill finally all was counted seperately, including a drink we did not have... so make sure to check your bill before you pay. anyway, the food was nice, the place pleasant, so it was fine.Dear r0landbrunnerThank you for your feedback and happy you'd enjoyed your lunch. Just one mention about the billing system: every plate is counted separately, because we don't have other option, but the amount of the formule is reached at the end! We went here while visiting my sister in Paris. The waiter spoke very good English and made us feel very comfortable. It is very small, 5-6 tables and they have a couple of dishes for each course available, all of which were very good. They also went to the trouble of making something for a little nephew who came along with us. Reasonably prices around 16 euro for main course.

I walked half a mile in the rain to visit Le Cardinal and it was worth every step. Friendly and attentive service in a cozy environment. Food was creative and delicious. Many healthy options. Menu is a combo of French and Indian with many unique dishes. I had a tuna mousse salad with crispy goat cheese which is a triangle shaped pastry filled with goat cheese and pesto then lightly fried. Delicious and not something I've ever seen. My avocado mousse with shrimp starter was also very nice and the fruit flavored Tiramisu served in a mason jar was beautiful and tasty. They have a â¬15 set meal that includes starter, main course and a very nice glass of wine (Merlot in my case). Best of all the staff seemed to know everyone who came in. Visit soon before Le Cardinal gets discovered!

A colleague brought us there for an informal dinner... typical french restaurant with tables that are so small and so close one to the other so there's no space to breath... this is Paris. We started with a Champagne brand I never heard and that was actually good, service is "relaxed" with friendly waiters but pretty slow indeed. I had a starter that honestly cannot rate that well, it was based on prawns, but looked similar to a big chinese spring roll... the main course, the fish, was just great, this it was Saint Peter fish I should say amazingly cooked and served with stuffed vegetables and yes, I really enjoyed that. Also desert was great. the place is not one of the cheapest one, clearly...

We dine out regularly and were really excited to be coming back to Paris and this restaurant particularly. The standards of hospitality and customer service are outstanding but relaxed so you immediately feel welcome. The ingredients are skillfully blended to give new creations every time. Starters were fresh langoustine followed by beautiful cod with a chorizo cream sauce...I chose the dessert of the day which was strawberry and mint soup which was perfect and refreshing on a warm evening. I and several friends dined here with one of the group having visited before. The food was spectacular and well presented with the owner/maitre d being so attentive in every way. I felt like we were special guests and I'm sure every table felt the same way. I had the Aberdeen Angus fillet which was tender, tasty and would sit well on the table of any king or president. The wines were good with good advice from the owner on suitable wine for the meal. This restaurant is small but that adds to the ambiance and atmosphere. We felt like part of a family and that was important. Tables were talking to each other and there was much laughter. English was spoken by the Maitre D and the chef who spoke to us at the table. This impressed us a lot as he was clearly busy.I would say that this restaurant is worthy of Michelin star!

My wife and I always try to visit this restaurant when we visit Paris. Food is simple but fresh, well prepared and delicious. Service is friendly and professional. Great selection of well priced wines, may available by the glass. Try the swordfish if available...always a treat! Note that Le Sain Sert is only open Monday to Friday.

This place is fabulous. I'm a big fan. Food is perfect, service is really good! You have to go there. It's located in Neuilly sur seine, great area to walk. I suggest you to book because is small and people love there. The only bad point is they don't open during weekends. They can speak English and Portuguese as well. Take line 1 and exit at Pont de Neuilly station, then is just 10 min walking in a beautiful and safe area.
