Brazilian/French fusion restaurant. Located on a very quiet street of Canoa, the place itself is all outdoors and very well decorated. Peaceful atmosphere, warm colors... the welcome itself was fine, not overly friendly but professional enough. The Caipirinhas were good. The food was nothing to write home about, but good enough. It lacks a bit of authenticity, but we wish the foreign owners a successful story here in Canoa!

This is another Italian restaurant on Broadway in Canoa Quebrada. After sitting at the bar watching the big chef work his magic with various pastas and eight frying pans full of a variety of fish, shrimp, meats and vegetables one night, you might expect a culinary wonder on your table the next. The resulting dinner was less than phenomenal, as your pasta appears as a sort of slippery grey mass containing day old shrimp, purple chewy bits of squid tentacles, too many spoonfuls of pasta water and only a hint of the rucula that you know should add that special zing to your food. Must have been a sous-chef special mix. Your host explains your options in a running unintelligible mix of Italian and Portuguese as he shows you the four or five red wines available tonight. But the place is very popular, perhaps because pizza is also on the menu or it could be the guitar player crooning old standards in a corner. Doubtless there are many other options for dinner in this town. Three stars.

Ficamos em Canoa Quebrada três dias e depois de conhecer as barracas de praia, não tivemos dúvidas em ficar nesta barraca. Não tem piscina, mas com um mar com águas mornas, não fez falta. O conforto propiciado nesta barraca que difere das demais são os seguintes: 1. fica na areia da praia e não no alto, como as barracas grandes; 2. além da mesa, cadeiras e guarda-sol que todas as barracas possuem, tem também um puff muito confortável e a espreguiçadeira possui um colchonete muito confortável; 3. a cerveja é bem gelada e todos os petiscos que pedimos estavam muito gostosos (queijo coalho, camarão ao alho e óleo; 4. a única barraca que faz um bolinho holandês (tipo o croquete alemão) muito saboroso; 5. Atendimento nota dez com muita simpatia; 6. música ambiente muito boa; 7. a caipifruta e a caipirinha são muito boas e com uma excelente apresentação, com flores e frutas decorando; Resumindo, é para quem gosta de praia com exclusividade e conforto.

Após 2 noites comendo hambúrguer (meio que uma maratona pra ver o melhor!), optamos dar uma chance ao Helbling's. A estrutura é sem igual, ambiente maravilhoso que faz até esquecer que a gente está na praia. Optamos pelo Helbling's (com Pepperoni) e o Chico (com Bacon). Sabe quando você consegue sentir o sabor de cada ingrediente? Pois é. Preço justÃssimo! Pedimos partido ao meio para que pudéssemos experimentar dos dois sabores (porque não sou besta, né? Kkkkk) Ah! Todos os burguers são acompanhadas de batata-frita. Pra finalizar, tenho que ressaltar a maionese apimentada que é simplesmente fantástica! Vale super a pena. Pelos sanduÃches e duas Coca lata pagamos R$50,00 (vinte reais cada). Tem 10%, mas como não tÃnhamos trocado nem eles, ficamos sem pagar essa taxa.
