Went here a couple of times already. Great food with royal portions.You should really try the speciality of the house 'Reppels gras', which is a delicious steak covered with an enormous pile of fries.Also, during the mussels season (August-April), you can try the 'mosselen van de chef'.Make sure to come when you are hungry though!

We had booked this hotel with a Vespa tour through Travel Bird.A smooth check-in.We got room 001 which is the first room on the ground floor. This room opens onto the courtyard, where is also the terrace where guests can eat and drink.This can cause some noise during the late evening.We had a spacious and well-maintained room with a nice bathroom.The sleeping area was on the mezzanine (somewhat on the tight side in terms of walking space).The only downside for us was that someone had been smoking in the room. It smelled clearly of cigarette smoke.The food is exquisite! They have a creative and well-trained cook. The service in the restaurant could be improved. So we got our appetizer after serving our starter. There is no clear line which tables are controlled by whom (everything goes a bit haywire).The breakfast buffet was very well attended.For our Vespa tour, the hotel provided us with a well filled lunch pack.

Gewoon een super frietzaak. Wel wat aan de prijs maar verder gewoon heel goed. Lekker eten. Genoeg keuze. En schoon. We komen hier regelmatig eten en zijn steeds tevreden.

I have stayed here about 5 times, this year went with my daughter and grandchildren. They just adored it, cycling , swimming, running safely around in lovely grounds.We ate in the restaurant a number of times - service great. But the steaks - Too Die For!!!. I have eaten steaks in many countries and cities, but these are probably the Best I've ever had and the range of sauces that you can select - smashing.My wife even thought that the salad bar was probably the tastiest she had ever used. As the advert says if Carlsberg ran a restaurant then this would be it - Not posh, sophisticated or Michelin starred - just really excellent, well portioned meals - you won't finish your meal, but you'll sit back with a contented smile on your face - make sure you finish off with an abbey beer and you'll sleep like a log.I envy you your first time

Belle découverte. Avons très bien déjeuné. Bien servi, et bon. Du choix. Mais surtout que câest agréable dâavoir un sourire, des conseils, de la disponibilité. On sent le plaisir du métier, du service, BRAVO. Une telle gentillesse fait plaisir.

Per toeval ontdekt... Maar wat een vondst ! Modern, bijna gloednieuwe bistro, maar eigenlijk is het een goed restaurant ! Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Geen zeer uitgebreide kaart, maar enkele verrassingen zoals foie gras en kalfszwezerik (ook als extra bij het traditioneel videetje) Open keuken waar je de cheffin zonder stress aan het werk ziet. Dankzij de goede geluidsdempende materialen op het plafond en de houten vloer stoort het helemaal niet dat de zaak afgeladen vol is. En het is lekker !! En verzorgd ! De witte en rode huiswijn is prima en vraagt om meer. De toiletten zij n dik OK en met éénmalige handdoekjes. Zelfs de zeep is perfect ! Een ommetje waard. Wel reserveren, zeker in het weekend!! Dikke proficiat aan de uitbaters !

Afgaande op tripadvisor kozen we voor dit kleinschalige restaurantje. Uitbaters zijn jonge enthousiaste mensen met Italiaanse roots. Er is een beperkte kaart maar dat is voor mij een pluspunt. De gerechtjes waren bijzonder fris, inventief en bovenal lekker. Mooie wijnkeuze. Zeker een aanrader in Bree als e tenminste van landelijke Italiaanse keuken houdt.

Great tasty food, no big deal menu but very cheap and huge portions. Friendly staffbutonly open on friday aevening and weekend evenings. Better make reservation about a week up front.

Kort bezoekje gebracht aan de luysmolen voor een koffietje en een tas soep. Leuke setting in een rustige groene omgeving. Volgende keer komen we terug voor een ontbijtje (reserveren nodig!)

Been a regular here since a few years. Tucked away in laid back Bocholt, where news seems to travel more slowly, rests this unusual family friendly restaurant with dishes from Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, Bocholt,... Try the White Fish in Bocholt Cheese or the Mexican Wrap and the home made ice cream. Limited wine selection with some very good affordable surprises.
