We visited Bella Casa several times over the past few years when visiting Bad Waldsee. Previously I believe the food was better than now, although it is still better than average. I had canelloni with ricotta cheese and spinach but found the spinach had a strong taste. My husband had lemon butter sole which was prepared for him at the table, he said it was lovely.The ambience was not brilliant this time but we were early on a Monday evening.The cost was â¬53 and we shared a bruschetta starter and wine, all in all not a bad deal.

Ein umgebauter Kuhstall besticht nun mit einladender Gemütlichkeit. Der Chef kommt hier noch persönlich an den Tisch und grüÃt seine Gäste. Die Portionen waren ordentlich und die Preise sehr fair. Ein toller frischer Wald- und Wiesensalat und auch die Brotknödel waren sehr schmackhaft. Im Sommer kann man schön unter der Linde im freien sitzen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The name translates as âFat Hildeâ. The overweight woman named Hilde can be seen in their logo.The restaurant has a very unique interior as well as an interestingly decorated beer garden. The have a program with different activities throughout the year. There are concerts with local bands performing, theme events like the âIrish eveningâ and live coverages of football world cup matches that the German team participates in.Check out their website for more detailed information (German only).The service was good and so was the food. Nice location in the country side between the towns of Aulendorf and Bad Schussenried.

The menu is nice and something special - you get it in the shape of a newspaper but on better paper. The selection is interesting and I selected soup with pancakes (quite good), Maultaschen gratiniert (very interesting and delicious combination but the cheese grating was a disappointment, a clear misfit), and triplet of chocolate which was nice but nothing special. Service was reasonably fast but not exactly friendly... probably I should have told the chef myself that the cheese on the Maultaschen was completely off!Prices are, considering where you are, OK to a bit expensive
